After taking a day to digest it, here are my thoughts about the Gameplay Feature Premiere.

Good honest take. I’m not gonna lie, that Gameplay Director telling us to “Make an adjustment” and use ambush to counter that tells me everything I need to know about what he thinks about the consumers. It was a bad look.

The community as a whole hates the PCI shrinkage? I think you mean content creators and some of their communities hate it.. Thats more like it! I personally dont mind it, or even care one way or another about it. But the entire community as a whole hates it? Thats not accurate.

My opinion (a franchise/RTTS heavy player) I personally don’t have many issues with the gameplay from 25.. I don’t play online or DD so my opinion differs from many people. So these “changes” really don’t do a damn thing for me. Aside from attribute overhaul, that may be nice.

Very fair assessment. I think Ive reached my own personal breaking point with sports games where I do not want to reward them with my purchase when they actively make terrible decisions. Another Coors/Switch hitting meta is going to grow stale so quickly.

I agree with you, I was gonna get the game regardless and pay the deluxe after Tuesday and the trailer, but after yesterdays streams and those 2 guys felt and sounded so smug, I’m really contemplating just getting the standard, I’m 💔💔💔

I don’t think it’s tone death. I haven’t heard of a better solution for getting true swing and misses on put away pitches. Whiffs are just a bigger part of baseball than ppl wanna admit.

You have to shrink both Outer and inner to get swings and misses. And I’m betting you’re going to see less contact on most switch hitters cards this year.

People complain and over analyze everything. They should worry about getting better at the game because then it’s more enjoyable.

Easy fix would be making the pci bigger if you keep throwing the same pitch in the same location in an at bat that would prevent spamming slider away or sinker inside and make people actually pitch

Best fix for elevation is to make the stadium selection just completely random by the game. Coors shouldn’t play remotely close to stadiums like T-Mobile park for example. Stadiums are all meant to be different just like they are in real life. There’s only so much you can do in a game. There’s fix isn’t to raise others and lower Coors just because the community refuses to play anywhere else. If they make the elevations all similar then people are just going to play at the smallest stadiums in the game. But in the end it’s a game, and people are going to do whatever the “Meta” is in the game. (Lineups or Stadiums etc.)

Agree completely They are fully aware switch hitters were king, so by doubling down on shrinkage, I bet their plan is to nerf switch hitters. Weather that be by making their splits with a clearly worse side or just nerf them all together.

Yes 100%. Last year there was an update that reduced shrinkage on GOAT difficulty
