In Casino Royale, David Corenswet says Bond gets his second kill in the bathroom, not in the office “My hot take is, everyone thinks the second kill is when Bond kills the main bad guy in the office later and he’s like, ‘Yes, considerably.’ “But what actually happened is, experientially, Bond already had his second kill because he drowned the guy and then had to shoot him.” “So, in his experience, he had to go through drowning the guy, thought he was dead, thought that he had had his first kill, and then the guy woke up and he just shot him. 007 First Light is the best movie game ever made. The devs completely understood the assignment. They nailed the classic Bond feel right out of the gate. After the prologue, you get hit with a traditional iconic James Bond opening credits sequence. It's long, stylish, and backed by a lovely track. It's just wild seeing a game capture the exact atmosphere of the movies this perfectly. Huge congrats to 007 First Light

Funny you posted this. When Greg Biffle passed away, Kyle mentioned this exact pass as one of his favorite memories. He knew he hit Biffle and it was a bad move, so he actually pulled over on the frontstretch to let Biffle back by, so he could pass him again the clean way. My dad was a crane operator, earned union wages, putting in the time, and felt pretty good about himself. He wasn’t Jeff Bezos, but his kids were going to do better than him. That was the deal in the US and he believed in it. When you feel that way, you’re basically agnostic to immigration. But when you’re in decline, when the affordability crisis has you missing mortgage payments, skipping the dentist, watching your kids fall behind where you were at their age, the immigrants become the threat. Not because they actually are, but because fear needs somewhere to land. That’s not racism. That’s economics. Fix the economics and you fix a lot of the rest.
