i see NFTs finding a new role as more businesses and financial assets move onchain tokenized stocks, RWAs and stablecoins are creating new infrastructure, and NFTs can become another layer around ownership, access and community the NFT + fungible token hybrid idea has already been tested before without really taking off the concept is worth revisiting though: liquid tokens for broad participation, with NFTs representing a more specialized tier of ownership or benefits that feels like a more interesting direction for NFTs this cycle

NFTs promise to be eternal, inscribed on the blockchain. However, opposite to what most collectors and artists think, it's rarely the case. The metadata and media can be stored in different ways, from the most solid to the weakest: onchain, Arweave, IPFS, web. When it becomes inaccessible, the NFT is broken. Most of the time, you won't know it because platforms like OpenSea serve you a cached version. I have worked for a month on a wallet scanner that generates a storage security audit, explaining the risk for each NFT and showing which have already failed. I've already run it for a few respected collectors and am working on a version available to all. I will adapt it so you can run it on an NFT before you buy and own it. Hopefully, this encourages artists and minting platforms to prioritize the most reliable storage.

In the coming weeks, Pennie Li and I are sharing lively discussions with founders we love, who are building in AI. First, I spoke with my friend Andrew Yan 🏛️ from AthenaHQ (Y Combinator W25), who helps brands shine in generative AI search results. We explored a striking shift in customer discovery. For the first time, a customer found A1Base through an AI chat, not a traditional search engine. This trend is gaining momentum. Andrew revealed that late last year, when ChatGPT tapped fresher data, product discovery transformed. People now ask AI systems, "Which corporate card should I choose?" instead of turning to Google. We faced a tough truth: earning a spot in AI search results isn't easy. To stand out, brands must craft precise content that answers specific prompts and publish it where AI systems look. After years of mastering Google's algorithms, we now confront a fresh challenge: staying discoverable. Those who embrace this shift and adapt will keep connecting with customers as behaviours change. How has AI search reshaped the way people find your products?
