Ms. Carrie, I had a friend in Washington, who had one, it's mother was killed, and he took it home. It was the cutest thing ever. Now, when it wants to play, it has some really sharp teeth that chew through fish bones and such. So it will naw on your hands, not meaning to hurt, but it will - It made a wonderful pet for him.

Last nov, I heard splashing in the creek on our property. I looked over expecting a dog and saw 3 WELL FED otters jumping around. They didn't stay long and soon ran off into the woods towards a medium sized lake. Now, We see them 2 - 3 times a yr.
