Realistically, Chris Hemsworth is already cast. As much as fans may not want that, Hasbro was very happy to put him front & center for the movie's marketing, and he apparently liked it. I do like this guy, he gets it. I don't envy the casting director for the next movie though.

Personally I don’t hear the gravitas and inflictions that Cullen had. I don’t want the next voice actor to mimic Cullen rather do their own thing.

It’s not about just sounding like Optimus prime, but having the feeling and soul that Peter put into the character. There are a few people that have done the role, but there are very few, if not any, who haven’t put the soul into it. @GarryChalkTalk is one who puts his soul into Prime/Primal.

Damn. He sounds phenomenal. I'd love to hear him do the "think of one of them as my soul" line. Nobody can truly replace what Peter Cullen means to us, but heartfelt tributes to his legacy that could become careers is never a bad thing.

kinda mixed on this, while it is a phenomenal impression, i don't want higher ups to just have someone outright replace Mr. Cullen

Yea I hope he gets the job, Optimus prime is someone I can’t really imagine with a different voice. Batman/superman/Spider-Man can have great VA’s but optimus only really has one voice might as well keep it close
