I feel terrible for landlords - not the huge corporations, but the people that have one or two places, keep them nice, charge fair prices, work with people. No way would I be in that business. Not anymore.

I think the disturbing thing was the arrested development. Assuming adults lived here, the amount of kids cartoon characters and bright colours and stickers, toys and junk food, the drawing on the walls and lack of responsibility for their things including pets.
