NEW! The Mayor Katie B. Wilson was boots on the ground this morning after suddenly postponing the scheduled encampment sweep. Two schools of thought were in attendance, one being her own that we need more shelter and housing and the other being our own offering same-day treatment and available recovery housing. While we are encouraged Wilson is seeing for her own eyes what the situation looks like, she didn’t show interest when Timothy Emerson offered rides to treatment to those in attendance. We will ask for a follow up meeting.

She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. The nurse in charge of this woman’s care doesn’t seem to be taking her job seriously. The woman suffers from seizures. She was afraid that the nurse would neglect her so she set up her camera on her phone. She then proceeds to have multiple seizures while on camera.
