He did. I hope the jury watches it. If they even need to. I’ve learned to always expect the unexpected from juries. But this case, even if anyone “thinks” KR may have hit him, is so riddled with holes and reasonable doubt that it should take maybe an hour or two to totally acquit.

This is great, Larry! I agree, this video unlocks the key to the chain of events. I think the evidence confirms that it happened exactly how you described it. I wish Jackson had focused on this video more as well, especially in the closing.

With the fact that Higgins lied by saying he never talked to John as he left, I’d say it would be much more than speculation. It would be more of inferring based on the obvious evidence and testimony during trial.

@Chrissi16228964 I can hazard a guess and say it wasn’t played because Defense feared the jury might mistake and think they are trying to prove a hoax. I thought the closing toed the line and only implied reminding them that they don’t have to prove anything. Hence why you saw no exhibits

I have shared a story before on how a Nigeria soldier who got a BH member arrested & handed over to the authorities saw that same BH member on the war front again weeks later. This time around he killed the BH member. After killing the BH member, he was summoned to the Head Quarters & was asked why he killed the BH member. Woah John Janssen is really mentioning it all. In this clip he goes into detail about the night Shannon crashed her car and got a DUI. I am actually shook how much John is spilling. First, John makes it clear that he would never release the videos of Shannon, he wouldn’t do that to her daughters. Also, in the new settlement where Shannon paid John 60k there was no non disparagement agreement… No wonder John is doing this interview now. John says the level of Shannon’s intoxication the night of the DUI was “shocking” and she went into an “extreme rage” over her missing phone. John says it was like Shannon was “possessed.” John knows what he is doing by using these dramatic words… He even says Shannon was “physically attacking” him and he had scratches all over. John also says Shannon was threatening his daughters and came within inches of hitting one of his daughters with her car. John says the entire audience has blown off the fact that Shannon “a drunk fool” almost hit his daughter… He’s like imagine if it was your kid. John says once he heard the crash his first instinct was to run towards it and Shannon but his daughter’s stopped him and said they would go and check it out. This is so damaging to Shannon. I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. It makes me still wonder to this day but I’m still glad I never opened the door.

KAREN READ: HER CRUMBLING CASTLE OF LIES AND WHY THE GARAGE LIE WON'T WORK During Read’s second trial, the defense began to float a theory that John O’Keefe was killed in the garage at 34 Fairview. This was a departure from their previous version of events wherein they claimed stair flight data on John’s phone proved he was in the house and had been killed in the basement, a claim Alan Jackson boldly stated on Nightline. To bolster this theory, Karen Read departed from her previous story of looking at her phone when John left the car, the story she told in that same episode of Nightline and changed it during her Dateline interview and stated she physically saw John go to the door of the home and “cross the threshold.” But as more evidence became available during the lead up to the second trial, it was clear this theory would no longer work. The high-quality location data on John’s phone showed he never left the flagpole area after he exited Read’s car, which is exactly where he was found early the next morning. The temperature readings on John’s showed the device never went from a cold environment to a warm environment, like entering a home. His health data only showed 36 steps indicating he hadn't walked far when he left the car. And so, in the weeks before the trial, Read and her team went to work concocting their new theory. They took the low-quality location data, the data generated when the cell phone signal weakens and expands and, in this case, included the very front of the house/garage area, and began to spin a tale that John was killed in the garage. They saturated social media with their new garage story, going so far as to take a picture of stain spilled on the garage floor and imply it was a blood stain. But the story doesn’t work. While the garage at 34 Fairview is attached to the house, there is no entry from the home into the garage or vice versa. One can only enter the garage from outside the house either by utilizing the overhead door or through use of an outdoor side door. Since Read has already claimed to have physically seen John cross the threshold of the home, this would mean John would have had to have gone into the home then would have been marched back out of the home by the "House defendants" with Chloe in tow to the garage, beaten by the group and attacked by Chloe in the garage, and then moved back to the flagpole area in less than a minute without registering any steps. There is zero evidence to support any of this occurred, and in fact, the data on John’s phone shows it is pure fiction. And it is absurd. The evolving theory Read and her team are spinning as well as its numerous machinations are the result of one thing: retrofitting the available evidence to create any scenario, no matter how implausible, to point the finger away from Read. Strange, as this is exactly what they have accused MSP and the witnesses of doing in Read’s civil suit. Imagine that. I guess the old saying is true, every accusation is a confession. KAREN READ: HER CRUMBLING CASTLE OF LIES AND WHY THE GARAGE LIE WON'T WORK During Read’s second trial, the defense began to float a theory that John O’Keefe was killed in the garage at 34 Fairview. This was a departure from their previous version of events wherein they claimed stair flight data on John’s phone proved he was in the house and had been killed in the basement, a claim Alan Jackson boldly stated on Nightline. To bolster this theory, Karen Read departed from her previous story of looking at her phone when John left the car, the story she told in that same episode of Nightline and changed it during her Dateline interview and stated she physically saw John go to the door of the home and “cross the threshold.” But as more evidence became available during the lead up to the second trial, it was clear this theory would no longer work. The high-quality location data on John’s phone showed he never left the flagpole area after he exited Read’s car, which is exactly where he was found early the next morning. The temperature readings on John’s showed the device never went from a cold environment to a warm environment, like entering a home. His health data only showed 36 steps indicating he hadn't walked far when he left the car. And so, in the weeks before the trial, Read and her team went to work concocting their new theory. They took the low-quality location data, the data generated when the cell phone signal weakens and expands and, in this case, included the very front of the house/garage area, and began to spin a tale that John was killed in the garage. They saturated social media with their new garage story, going so far as to take a picture of stain spilled on the garage floor and imply it was a blood stain. But the story doesn’t work. While the garage at 34 Fairview is attached to the house, there is no entry from the home into the garage or vice versa. One can only enter the garage from outside the house either by utilizing the overhead door or through use of an outdoor side door. Since Read has already claimed to have physically seen John cross the threshold of the home, this would mean John would have had to have gone into the home then would have been marched back out of the home by the "House defendants" with Chloe in tow to the garage, beaten by the group and attacked by Chloe in the garage, and then moved back to the flagpole area in less than a minute without registering any steps. There is zero evidence to support any of this occurred, and in fact, the data on John’s phone shows it is pure fiction. And it is absurd. The evolving theory Read and her team are spinning as well as its numerous machinations are the result of one thing: retrofitting the available evidence to create any scenario, no matter how implausible, to point the finger away from Read. Strange, as this is exactly what they have accused MSP and the witnesses of doing in Read’s civil suit. Imagine that. I guess the old saying is true, every accusation is a confession. I’m trying to reconcile a few parts of Jen’s testimony across both trials, and I’m genuinely curious how others interpret her testimony and the dash cam footage. In the second trial, Jen says she didn’t realize it was John until she got close and saw Kerry wiping snow from his face. She describes being shocked, frozen, and only then understanding it was him. But during the 911 call, sheanswers yes to the dispatcher when he asked if John had “hit his head.” If she had just realized it was John in that moment and described being stunned and unsure how did she already know (or conclude) that he had hit his head? Also, Jen describes getting into the police cruiser with Karen and Kerry, where they held hands, prayed, and talked while John was being moved to the ambulance. This is notable because she testified to a very similar sequence in the first trial as well, placing that interaction during the time John was being moved. However, dashcam footage shows John being moved around 6:14–6:15, with all three women visible outside the cruiser at that time. I’m not drawing conclusions, I’m just trying to understand how these details fit together across both versions of testimony and the video timeline. If anyone has a clear way to reconcile this, I’d really like to hear it.
