AGAIN, I will never stop sharing this. And I’ll never understand why it wasn’t highlighted and played before the jury. The old man that walked around the confrontation, was in a conversation with John immediately before, then walked around it all and went outside and had a long conversation... show more

Here is a longer, uncut version that shows the very aggressive and challenging gestures Higgins makes as he walks out the door.

Jackson did mention this in closing and told the jury to watch it in deliberations, but he should’ve played it.

@mdpats97 I was very happy when he mentioned it. I hope they go and watch it. I would’ve played it for them and ended my summation with John walking out with that glass to go to 34F. Fade to black. Like a movie ending.

AJ did mention this timestamp in closing, right?

He did. I hope the jury watches it. If they even need to. I’ve learned to always expect the unexpected from juries. But this case, even if anyone “thinks” KR may have hit him, is so riddled with holes and reasonable doubt that it should take maybe an hour or two to totally acquit.

This is great, Larry! I agree, this video unlocks the key to the chain of events. I think the evidence confirms that it happened exactly how you described it. I wish Jackson had focused on this video more as well, especially in the closing.

I wish he did too. I would’ve ended my summation with it and then with John walking out with that glass at 12:11 to go to 34F. Then fade to black. Like the end of a movie.

If they don’t have the witness, they don’t have the content of that heated discussion. Not much to say but speculate at that point.

With the fact that Higgins lied by saying he never talked to John as he left, I’d say it would be much more than speculation. It would be more of inferring based on the obvious evidence and testimony during trial.

@Chrissi16228964 I can hazard a guess and say it wasn’t played because Defense feared the jury might mistake and think they are trying to prove a hoax. I thought the closing toed the line and only implied reminding them that they don’t have to prove anything. Hence why you saw no exhibits

@DrHeinzOfficial @Chrissi16228964 That’s a good thought but they went full in with the theory of being framed and killed in 34F. Why not finish with the knockout blow being this video that ends the night like a movie scene?
