In the early 2000s Remington came out with the Remington 7615 which was a 5.56 rifle that was pump action because they assumed the manual of arms between it & the 870 shotgun would be more familiar to police. I have one and it’s lame. LOL

Mine has a spare mag in the stock, a light, a cheek rest, and a weaver rail on top of the receiver. Still very lame. I only own it because it came with 2 other guns I bought in a lot.

I think the charging handle on an AR is kinda dumb. Yes it doesn't poke you when slinged, but I've never had that problem with an AK or mini14. That being said, I still don't want that contraption 🤣

A pump shotgun style charging handle for an AR…I don’t know you have to alter your grip on the firearm to pull the charging handle normally but why would you be doing that..swapped mags, clear a jam so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to be able to clear a jam while maintaining your aim if you were in a bad situation.. It may have merit I’d be interested in giving it a try.
