Today’s attack on Abhishek Banerjee is a stark reflection of the complete breakdown of law and order in West Bengal. It exposes how deeply democratic values have eroded under an ineffective administration. Targeting a sitting Member of Parliament and a representative of the opposition with eggs, bricks, and other projectiles is unacceptable in any democratic society.
