A lot has to be done to the constitution,why does the president appoint heads of institutions?? He has too much powers on everything

Hon Namara should be pushing for such ammendments to stop the president from appointing people to such institutions but rather having them recruited through public service on contract based terms. But he's there nio nio Lop

These are the amendments we have been calling for, for years: Why should the President have the sole power to appoint each and everyone? Can't we have an independent entity made up of religious leaders, members from different pol.parties, etc, to make some of these appointments?
