Most people misunderstand consent. A minor (non adult) cannot give consent to an adult. So if youre in a country that says 17 is age of consent, but 18 is adult, and you pork a 17 year old, she cant give consent, thats SR. Consent laws exist for two people under the age of adulthood who consent to sexual activities as minors in which neither minor can be held criminally or legally liable for the interactions so long as both parties consented. Age of consent is one of the most misunderstood laws in the world.

Many countries do not have a law called age of consent because sex out side of marriage is illegal and has a criminal charge. They instead of age of marriage laws and the age in those laws align with age of consent laws in other nations.
