This started over a disagreement about our dogs I could sense she was getting agitated, and I had no interest in shouting at a pensioner, so I told her to go her way and we’ll go our way She argued back and proceeded to call me indecent “You’re not decent” I could sense subtle undertones of racism in the way she said this, but wanted confirmation before jumping to conclusions, so I probed her and asked “What do you mean by that?” She replied: “you’re not decent, none of you are, you’re not decent, just like the rest of them” At this point I’m thinking “i know exactly what sort of Facebook posts you’re liking and who you’re gonna vote for” So i probe again, “what do you mean by that?” she says “like the rest of you, *where you come from*” I wasn’t able to record these initial racist remarks as I don’t exactly expect to be racially abused when taking the 2 family dogs for a walk, so I didn’t have the camera rolling at the time I was actually just going to leave the park at that point, but thought to myself “Naah you can’t let them get away with this” people should not just be able to racially abuse you in public and go back home to their beans on toast and coronation street. This has happened to me before but the last times I kept quiet and didn’t say anything back but this time was infront of my sister and I wasn’t about to set the precedent for her that you should just let people racially abuse you free from consequence So I took out my phone and started recording the aftermath where: - I told her to say it again - she hit and shoved me Needless to say when the camera came out, the vile bigot started to: 1) wind her neck in because now she was on tape. Didn’t stop her from commenting on my origins again though, or from hitting me twice. 2) play the victim 3) try to provoke me into being the “big bad foreigner” she so desperately wanted me to be 4) accuse me of intimidating her as if she hadn’t just racially insulted me and hit me At this point my sister is holding onto my arm sobbing saying she just wants to go home, and I didn’t want things to escalate so we go our separate ways We then end up crossing paths with her at the park exit where she starts recording me and my sister. I tell her to leave my sister out of it if she has a problem with me, because my sister was crying, she was still in her school uniform and had no involvement. She proceeds to mock my sister for crying I then told the woman “she’s just a child, leave her alone” The woman responds “and what about me? Leave me alone, I’m an old woman, you have no respect for the elderly” I tell her that if she wants to be respected she should be respectful, and that being old doesn’t give her a free pass to be racist or to hit people She then says oh of course you’re gonna play the racism card, that’s all you people ever do I said it’s not playing the racism card if you’re actually being racist There were witnesses to this, but at the time my concern was getting my sister home so I didn’t think to stop and ask the people in the park I have had my initial consultation/interview with the police I know most English people are lovely, half my family are white and English after all, but these racists are getting too comfortable with and open about their hatred of people who are a couple shades too dark for their liking. Over the years, many of you have joined me in celebrating this truly special girl turned young woman, Maddie. I am heartbroken to share with you that Maddie has passed away at the age of 21. I’m sharing a glimpse into my friendship with Maddie because I want people to know how truly special she was. I met Maddie when Kevin and I were filming Kevin Can Wait. Make-A-Wish America reached out and told us that a young girl’s wish was to meet us. I was so touched. This beautiful little girl was a fan of King of Queens? And we of course said yes. Maddie and her family came to visit us on set, and what started as a meet-and-greet turned into a real, almost decade-long, lasting friendship. Maddie would text me almost every day. She sent me funny videos, shared stories about her life, and came out to LA with her family, where I attempted to get her to expand her palate (though she always circled back to her favorite, a Caesar salad). We shared many beautiful moments that have kept me positive in moments of difficulty and darkness, and she was about to come to LA again, where I planned on celebrating her for her birthday and her recent accomplishments. Maddie had Spinal Muscular Atrophy type two (SMA), but she never let it define her. She was excited to begin advocacy work and had recently told me she was officially going to start speaking publicly about her experiences, not even for herself, but to help others. She had big dreams, and I was so proud watching her grow into the leader I always knew she was. Maddie loved her family and friends fiercely. For her young age, she would prefer to be with friends and family, playing games and our favorite, Phase 10. She loved all things girly: nails, hair, makeup, the Timberwolves. And she hated snow (though she lived in Minnesota), and more importantly, she loved helping people. She wrote me love notes daily, and I only hope I had let her know how much joy she brought me. It is me who hopes that she knew how much I loved her. I received this text from her friend Emma, whom I knew from the many funny videos Maddie sent me of the two of them. I’ve included it below. After flying to Minnesota to say goodbye (although she had already passed while I was in the air), I wanted her to know what she meant to me. That she was thinking of me in this way and wanted me to have the things she mentioned, that she cared so much, is also truly touching and heartbreaking. Maddie had so much life ahead of her. Her disease didn’t stop her spirit or dim her light. She was hopeful, brilliant, and genuinely excited for her future. I will miss her texts, her videos, and hearing from her every day. They always made me smile. I will miss her humor and the light she brought into this world every single day. Maddie had just turned 21. Her little body just couldn’t contain the big, beautiful life she was living. She was a force, taken too soon. I just want to make this critically important point. The ONLY reason people are scared of Russia is their nuclear strike capability. THAT’S IT, full stop. Train driver Andrew Johnson became aware of the attack, and instead of stopping the train on the tracks (where police and medical would take some time to arrive), Johnson diverted the train to a different track which would take the train into the next-closest station (which happened to be Huntingdon) where police would be waiting, radioing ahead to ensure that the attack on his train could be stopped as soon as possible. One railway crew member onboard the train (who has not yet been named due to being wounded) also displayed great courage by blocking the passage of the attacker, delaying his rampage down the train for a time, sustaining severe wounds in the process. Several passengers also carried out the time-honored tradition of using violence-of-action to take the fight to the attacker (all of whom were wounded during the attack). Stephen Creen was wounded while attempting to stop the attacker, along with several others who attempted to do the same even though everyone except for the attacker was unarmed. In short, details may be hard to discern, but currently it looks like most people did the right thing; those who could fight, did so. Those who couldn't, fled and attempted to warn other passengers down the train, as well as caring for the wounded. This attack proves once again that almost everything can be done correctly, and the fight still be a hard one. Attacks will continue, this is unfortunately a certainty. If not from deliberately planned terror attacks, then from random outbursts of violence. But, the first steps in the British re-conquering their kingdom will be to foster a culture of using extreme violence, to stop extreme violence. Not out of malice or hatred, but out of the desire to stop the harm to innocent people. For far too long the British government has portrayed sheer survival instinct as hatred, which is pure gaslighting that couldn't be further from the truth. At the moment, there have been no fatalities, but prayers are strongly encouraged for the survivors to ensure their rapid recovery. Stephen Creen was wounded while attempting to stop the attacker, along with several others who attempted to do the same even though everyone except for the attacker was unarmed. In short, details may be hard to discern, but currently it looks like most people did the right thing; those who could fight, did so. Those who couldn't, fled and attempted to warn other passengers down the train, as well as caring for the wounded. This attack proves once again that almost everything can be done correctly, and the fight still be a hard one. Attacks will continue, this is unfortunately a certainty. If not from deliberately planned terror attacks, then from random outbursts of violence. But, the first steps in the British re-conquering their kingdom will be to foster a culture of using extreme violence, to stop extreme violence. Not out of malice or hatred, but out of the desire to stop the harm to innocent people. I saw a man shitting in a garbage can. I saw a hobo walking around Broadway with a machete (but I couldn't bring my gun within city limits). I saw countless homeless people passed out in the grass, on sidewalks, and even one in the street. I was so shocked and disgusted by it all that we decided to leave Denver early. We felt literally dirty being there because of how infested the city is with debauchery, garbage, drugs, used needles on the ground, crime, etc. I've been to so many cities in my life and I've NEVER seen a city fall so far from grace as Denver, Colorado. It’s fair to wonder if Biden’s incompetence is, to some extent, responsible for various disasters in his administration. If Biden’s mental capacity were 100% would he have allowed so many migrants to cross the border? So many that the border crisis threatens his presidency? Would he have approved such a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan? Where were Avril Haines, Sam Power, and Gina Raimondo when all of that was going down? Maybe they wanted those bad policies. And that means he’s unable to think clearly. And Biden’s own aides admitted that Biden only has six good hours a day. What happens if Russia threatens nuclear war at two in the morning? It’s fair to wonder if Biden’s incompetence is, to some extent, responsible for various disasters in his administration. If Biden’s mental capacity were 100% would he have allowed so many migrants to cross the border? So many that the border crisis threatens his presidency? Would he have approved such a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan? Where were Avril Haines, Sam Power, and Gina Raimondo when all of that was going down? Maybe they wanted those bad policies. Or maybe Biden didn’t understand what they were telling him. Or maybe there wasn’t time in his six-hour workday to think things through. Or maybe everyone was too scared to tell Biden the bad news. Politico this morning reported that senior Biden administration officials go to “great lengths” to “avoid provoking a negative reaction” from Biden because he has such a short temper. “It’s like, ‘You can’t include that, that will set him off,’” said one of them. “It’s a Rorschach test, not a briefing. Because he is not a pleasant person to be around when he’s being briefed. It’s very difficult, and people are scared shitless of him.” In other words, what we saw at the debate wasn’t the worst of it. The worst of it is that Biden can’t or won’t deal with bad news. And what is being president of the United States if not dealing, day after day, hour after hour, with bad news? There are definitely a lot of people urging Biden to step down. But what’s so disturbing is how they’re making the case based on his inability to defeat Trump, rather than on his ability to govern the country. It’s time to get real. We’re talking about the guy who decides whether to fire off nuclear missiles. The guy who decided to sell Ukraine missiles that can hit Russia. The American people elected Biden to have that responsibility, not Avril Haines, Sam Power, and Gina Raimondo. According to the latest polling, just one out of four Americans think Biden has the mental capacity to handle that responsibility. We are in a deeply surreal and dangerous moment. Consider that the media reported that two days ago, Hunter Biden played a key role in convincing his father to stay in the race. Remember Hunter Biden? The guy who oversaw a vast influence peddling scheme for his dad while smoking crack and playing with guns? He’s who President Joe Biden is listening to? Democrats are telling us we shouldn’t worry about that. The representatives of the deep state will take care of us. Who is Avril Haines? She’s the head of the Directorate for National Intelligence — our top spy chief. Who is Jeh Johnson? He’s the guy who created the basis for the Department of Homeland Security to demand censorship by social media platforms. The Democratic Party is not democratic. It has been trying for years to incarcerate the main political opponent of the president of the United States. It oversaw the creation of a Censorship Industrial Complex. It weaponized the FBI and other intelligence agencies to spread disinformation about its enemies. And the Democratic Party is now trying to get away with running for reelection a man who lacks the compos mentis required to do his job and is openly saying that the deep state will run things instead. Jeh Johnson is right that a presidency is more than just one man. But it’s a role that depends entirely upon that one man. And in a democracy, we elect that man. The alternative is tyranny.
