In #Gujarat's #Ahmedabad, a woman driving her vehicle was stopped by the police for a driving licence check. While she was searching for her licence, it took some time. During this time, the woman asked the police officer to show his identification card. While returning the ID card to the officer, it accidentally slipped from her hand and fell on the ground. Following this, the police officer slapped the woman. As seen in the video, the officer later attempted to hit her with a baton but was stopped by other police personnel present at the scene. The woman later went to the police station to file a complaint; however, no FIR was registered based on her complaint. Sources said Kiran was preparing to gift something to the woman for Valentine’s Day, but was devastated after learning about her engagement. Meanwhile, Kiran’s parents have lodged a complaint at the Mahalakshmi Layout police station, alleging that their son was emotionally and financially exploited. They claimed that the woman’s family had a loan of around Rs.50 lakh, and Kiran had assured them that he would help clear the amount. The woman had reportedly visited Kiran’s house about eight months ago and had requested his family to agree to their marriage. The woman is said to be two years older than Kiran, and her marriage was reportedly finalised just a week ago. The parents have alleged that after receiving financial support, the woman went ahead with another marriage, which pushed their son into taking the extreme step. Bengaluru Police Probe Ex-Gym Trainer in Multiple Child Assault Cases Bengaluru Police in South #Bengaluru have launched a multi-case investigation into a former gym trainer following a series of disturbing incidents involving the alleged assault of children and young girls in the #Banashankari area. The investigation began after a formal complaint was lodged by local resident Ms. Deepika Jain at the Banashankari Police Station. Ms. Jain reported that on December 14, 2025, her son was playing with friends when a neighbor, identified as Ranjan, approached the child and “aggressively kicked and injured him” without provocation. An FIR (First Information Report) was registered following court approval and the suspect has since undergone preliminary questioning. As the investigation progressed, police discovered the assault on Ms. Jain’s son was not an isolated incident. CCTV footage from the neighborhood has linked the same individual to at least three other cases. Police officials have reached out to the families of these additional victims, encouraging them to file formal complaints to strengthen the legal case against the accused. Ranjan, who previously worked as a gym trainer on Bannerghatta Road, reportedly underwent a significant personality change following a self-accident approximately three months ago. Preliminary police reports suggest the suspect may be suffering from deteriorating mental health as a result of the accident.
