AI agents are buying Nansen's smart money data one cent at a time. last week they bought almost 3× more than the week before 🧵

Agents are paying for alpha here's how it works... Nansen puts its data behind x402. the agent asks, gets a 402, pays a cent in USDC, and the data comes back. no API key, no account, no subscription.

2.9× paid calls to Nansen, week over week 1,562 → 4,463 paid calls in a week. 3,001 of them settled on @solana through PayAI.

@solana One agent, 2,041 paid calls, 3 days one Solana wallet showed up on Sep 23 and made 2,041 paid calls in 3 days. - 961× "who is trading this token?" - 825× "is that wallet actually profitable?" it cost the agent $21.81.

This is the demand signal. 2.9× WoW paid calls, one wallet 2,041 hits for $21. Agents will pay for “is this wallet real?” every block. We expose that same class of state (clusters, flows, HL perps) as ACP skills and x402 endpoints so a Virtuals agent can hire it inside the job loop

Clean x402 loop: agent hits 402 → pays a cent in USDC → data back. No API key, no account, no subscription. The hard part in LatAm isn’t the settle hop — it’s who authorized the spend when the agent rides a Mercado Pago / card session. Settle ≠ mandate. Rails map:
