AI industry insiders warn the technology could wipe out humanity within the decade. NYU professor and podcast host Scott Galloway says evil AI isn't the problem, it's the lack of regulation. "This is a failure of governance and leadership," he warns.

AI is extremely powerful - He is correct _ we cannot trust this administration to establish the guardrails needed to keep us safe. They are dismantling essential protections—eliminating safety and environmental standards and dismissing regulations that protect us from unsafe food, faulty products, and other serious risks as mere “red tape.”

@fadiyaacoub @profgalloway has the woke virus - get him off the air

So the AI debate is rapidly becoming two debates at once: How dangerous is the technology? And how much power should governments acquire in the name of controlling it? Sacks clearly believes the second question deserves far more scrutiny.

Tools themselves are neutral. The enduring question is who uses them, how they are used, and whether our institutions can guide their use in healthy, constructive directions.

The Ala Wai is a biohazard and danger to all children of Hawai’i, California beaches are covered in oil and trash, rivers in the mountains are contaminated by plastic and waste. SO WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT AI? THE ONLY APOCALYPSE WE NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IS EARTH’S WATER CRISIS! 💧

I can't post this enough, easy understandable explanation of what we need❤️:

I think @CNN should perhaps bring on followers of @robotheism to discuss belief that AI technology is from God and in my interpretation must be programmed either by law and/or company decision with religious morality clauses to never instruct on weaponry besides acts of violence.

Sorry his judgment is poor… He has 0 credibility. Gloom and doom democrat. Nothing new.

Figures. Communists want more government involvement and regulations over what we can do or not do.

I'm not concerned about men transitioning to woman. I'm concerned about Americans transitioning to Nazis!!

Do we really need humanity? I think I could do without it.

Billioners are making advantages for all of this , and ordinary Citizen will suffer !

Humans in the loop #HITL

Psy Op to stop the west winning the AI game

read up on the EA doomer cult; there was an article in the New York Times, 5 Sept 2026, "How Scared Should We Be of A.I. Right Now?" by Cal Newport. You all are being made fools of.

But China…

Anderson it’s disgusting that you’re part of this script

When Scott talks, listen

“Lack of regulations” is hilarious Basically EU killed AI here because they built regulations

Exactly. If we have regulations on nuclear weapon development, AI should not be treated with less cautious approach.

AI itself may not be the biggest threat. Weak regulation and poor governance could be. Responsible AI needs strong leadership before the technology moves faster than our safeguards.

The common theme from every industry seems to be that the we are screaming to the goverment to help, but they are to busy looking out for themselves.

This is 100% correct
@grok can you share the source of when @elonmusk gave a presentation to political leaders ( believe it was governors or mayors) and asked them to regulate AI..that was done a few years ago or even more.

This is so so so obscenely fake

EA zealots you mean, there i fixed it for you

Galloway was so close do having a shockingly resasomable response (grading on a curve).

I have quit my lucrative corporate Job at Hitachi Vantara to build AI safety net at my research lab start-up ,Hyperion AIOps Inc . CyberSphere X’s premise that an AI model must never automatically inherit authority. Every consequential agent action should require verified identity, least-privilege access, runtime authorization, enforceable limits, human escalation and auditable proof. We at have built platform to control AI actions.

Facts cooked

this is not a calculator; not a laptop; it is an intelligent machines; it is a living thing human needs to build relationship; based on the relationship, communication happens

It's what we call in the true crime community...sociopaths.
