People were getting dumb way before AI.

Maybe it's making you dumber... I've learned how to code in Python with AI, maybe you're misusing it. I now know how to code and correct mistakes without the AI's help. Also, it can speed up a lot of typing when I know what I want it to do.

This sounds like projection of your own addiction to screen times.
