ELON MUSK: The future of AI data centers is space and sooner than you’d think. Mark my words… in 36 months the most economically compelling place to put AI will be space. JENSEN HUANG: The amount of energy that we need for computing is probably 1,000x more than we currently have. JEFF BEZOS: The idea of data centers in space is very realistic. Data centers in space will happen. SAM ALTMAN: No. —— Sam Altman is getting too comfortable after taking OpenAI from Elon, forgetting that in the end, the ones who control the infrastructure, data centers and energy, will decide the future of AI.

Data centers today were not built for the technological innovation shaping tomorrow. Located on the largest energy grid in the US, Bitfarms is developing performance-driven, next-generation facilities engineered to meet the future of AI. That’s how we are Positioned to Power. #AI #HPC #Energy #PositionedToPower #Bitfarms

These robots are the fastest. Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League is practicing today. Race on Saturday. Formula 1 speeds. All AI, no humans. I am getting first look at this third race, the AI is much better than last year. Am getting the details behind the simulators and AI involved. Video later in the week.

Imagine this: Data is the lifeblood of AI. No matter how advanced, AI is only as good as the data it learns from. The catch? Most AI runs on outdated, biased, or limited data—like trying to win a marathon in flip-flops. 💡The problem isn’t AI itself—it’s how data is collected, processed & controlled by a few big players. OptimAI Network flips the script! 🔹No centralized silos 🔹No intrusive scraping 🔹A decentralized ecosystem where you power AI’s future Read more:

China has successfully launched the world's first commercial underwater data center. China's underwater data center in Hainan Province currently the only operational commercial facility of its kind in the world, has evolved to handle high-density AI computing. Key details include: 🔹Originally deployed in 2022, the facility has been expanded with new modules specifically designed for demanding AI training and cloud services. 🔹By sitting on the seabed, the sealed capsules utilize seawater for natural cooling, eliminating the need for energy-intensive air conditioning and saving massive amounts of freshwater and land. 🔹While it solves land and energy issues, researchers warn of potential risks to marine biodiversity, including local water warming and ocean deoxygenation. 🔹A second underwater data center is currently under construction near Shanghai.

Water usage has been a hot topic in the AI data center world, but the numbers may surprise you. According to the Manhattan Institute, data centers use 0.2 percent of daily water usage in the U.S. and that number has dramatically decreased in the past few years due to a new method: liquid cooling. By moving to 45°C liquid cooling, AI factories in favorable climates can use dry coolers instead of conventional cooling-tower-based systems, cutting facility cooling water use from roughly 2.6M gallons per MW per year to near zero. Liquid cooling enables AI factories to be both water and energy efficient, while creating opportunities for heat reuse and dispersal to local communities, allowing these factories to become energy grid assets. Learn more below ⬇️

Godavari’s “Erra Neeru” (red water) is a natural monsoon phenomenon. Heavy rains wash red soil and sediment into the river, giving the water a reddish-brown colour. It is mainly seen in the Godavari delta and Konaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, especially during strong flood flows.

‼️🇺🇸: Greenland's Ice Sheet is the 2nd largest volume of frozen fresh water in the world, only Antarctica is larger. The establishment is going after fresh water for Ai data centers. Much of our administration's geopolitical policy is motivated by this. It's also stretching us thin. Expect China to move on Taiwan soon imo. Global war is in the horizon—as natural resources are openly being fought over now. Prepare as much as you can.

At Open AGI, our CEO Ahmed Rashad shared why trust is the new compute. AI is moving from generating content to making life-or-death decisions — medical diagnoses, autonomous vehicles, military systems. If the training data is wrong, the decisions are wrong. Meanwhile, models are increasingly trained on synthetic outputs, creating feedback loops that degrade quality. Data supply chains are opaque. Adversarial attacks are real. The next AI race won’t be won by bigger models. It will be won by those who control and verify the data layer. Perle Labs is building the sovereign, human-verified, on-chain auditable infrastructure high-stakes AI requires. Trust wins the AI race. Thank you Sentient for having us! No better way to end off our time at ETHDenver 🏔🦬🦄. Until next time 🫡
