AI Text-to-Music has arrived. MusicLM is a model by Google Research that generates high-fidelity music from text descriptions. Basically just enter some text and it will create the music. 🤯 Attached video shows sample text prompts and AI generated music.

Lots of effort currently being made toward AI text-to-video. 2023 will see huge amount of progress. But so far I haven't see AI text-to-video that can do human level video generation. Example: Meta's Make-a-video is impressive but far from human-level.

There is a difference between creating music and expressing an emotion via art that people connect with. Yes this AI has "created music" but until people around the world feel compelled to listen to,consume and interact with this music over and over...it is basically pointless.

Google’s ability to identify a song when I hum it is astounding. I’m not a good singer so my rendition might be recognized by most people familiar with the song, but for Google to do it really is impressive to me. These are pretty obscure songs, too.
