Wouldn't knowingly buy it, won't knowingly play it. Gen AI is a billionaires tool to replace talent so they don't have to pay for it and I will never pretend otherwise.

Honestly, I can kinda understand why a developer decides to use AI for their game. Devs often need to be artist, programmer, author and so on at the same time. Does it mean I support it? No way! You can still buy assets and hire help.

AI should never be used for creative work. Making things allows us to express ourselves with the emotion. AI should only be used as a tool when it comes to work, not play. I didn't learn how to make art just to have that taken away.

AI should stay out of the arts. Until it stops using stolen content as its base, I avoid it and actively BOYCOTT anything using it. Using AI doesn’t make you an artist or creative. Using AI is not a tool because it actively is built using stolen references.

It shouldnt be a thing. I see the "low budget" argument thrown around and im just gonna be honest, if you somehow dont find someone who'd do it for free or for a very low price, then dont have voice acting. Simple as that, there is nothing wrong with just text, AI is a no go.

As @souda_anzu mentioned, it feels less like an accessible tool and more like a cost-cutting billionaire hustle, you know? And of course, the stealing aside, lotsa AI outputs feel... inhuman. There's ethical + productive ways to use AI, and if devs/creators can do that, sure.
