AI will disappear the middleware developer, will supercharge the lowlevel dev, and will create a lot more product devs.

Best part about @bittensor_ ‘s decentralized Ai, that both Low-Level and middle-level Devs can mine $TAO while fine-tuning their own ML models. Front-end devs will be needed to code the dApps and interface for the validators which enterprise will need to stake on to use the Ai.

The next computing platform is going to be 3D simulation based (ie, games), so the idea of a “frontend engineer” seems equally doomed in the way we use it today: those who turn data into pixels on 2D projection Game developers and low level programmers are well positioned imo.

Disagree on Middleware given it’s an area of immense complexity + nuance. While experiencing scaling challenges, Jay Kreps and team wrote Kafka (a middleware project). Is Kafka low-level C/Rust doing highly optimized instruction shuffling? Agree on making 10X devs now 1000X tho.

Would probably bucket Kafka on lowlevel, so guess am using middleware differently here.

What pod is this from?

Agree, but think also low coders will eventually disappear, sooner than 10 years. Will remain the contextual guy that translate human needs and requests to the AI. This is all very dangerous as AI interactions will no longer be regulated by humans.

You mean backend developer also going to disappear soon?

Interesting take, started coding recently ,i think AI based coders will be the new wave, especially in early AI stages, but once it can spit it out a full website, design and css is where things get interesting knowing every prompt will get a more precise code will be curtail

What might a product devs skill stack and tool list look like in said environment? Are all other plugins downstream from ChtaGPT?

100% - I already use ChatGPT to help me learn how to program with my son in C++ to build custom functions into his STEM robotic projects.

So instead of 5 coders, it'll be one coder using AI to replace the other 4 coders, is that what you're saying?

lol @ the caption that mistakes LLMs for MLMs. I suppose there will be many people coding up LLM powered MLM ponzis though
