The visual part was a red herring for me. AI's default copy is what kills landing pages, generic hero text that doesn't map to any specific pain point.

curious how much of this is a real design system vs one person's aesthetic baked into the skill file. spacing and type rules generalize, but the taste that made this specific page work probably doesn't transfer to a different brand without a redo

Code has tests; landing-page taste needs a decision hierarchy. A useful design skill should do more than ban ugly defaults: it should force the model to choose what the visitor must notice first, what can wait, and what action earns the next click.

Give the model a visual system and reference hierarchy before the prompt; taste needs constraints more than adjectives. Otherwise every hero section becomes three gradients in a trench coat.
