Aaron Judge holds the bat with a closed pack position in his right elbow… Bobby Witt holds the bat with a closed pack position in his left elbow…. This means Judge’s left hip “turns his right hip” when he loads and his right hip “turns his left hip” when he swings…. It’s the opposite for Witt. His right hip “turns his left hip” when he loads and his left hip “turns his right hip” when he swings. An anatomist would simply tell you that Judge uses his TFL as his agonist muscle on his left side at load while Witt uses his TFL as his antagonist muscle on his load. Follow their hips in each instance and you’ll see what I mean… If you initiate your load with an active upper body, the feeling these guys get when they load is nothing like the feeling you get when you load.

Hz (Hertz) means cycles per second. In a basic hip shimmy, one cycle is typically a left-right or up-down hip oscillation. So:At 5 Hz, that's 5 full shakes per second (or 10 individual hip movements if counting left + right separately). At 6 Hz, that's 6 shakes per second—a blur of rapid vibration. How many Hz are they going?
