Njabulo Blom🔝 Quality player at Kaizer Chiefs❤️✌🏾 ■ How are we struggling for options in midfield? We can't even get Blom to enjoy football? ■ A match unfit Blom is still better than what we partner Cele with constantly there. ■ This boy doesn't want to play RB. Worse, he knows, and we know he's better than our preferred 6s. ■ How does he stay inspired when he's undervalued? We need to be less emotional and pick the best possible 11 with what we have before complaining about lack of quality. ■ Blom can't even have 2 starts because we have the coaches' favorite sons who deserve to play even when they offer nothing! ▪︎ The fans end up hating their own players because the coach forces them into the team even when they aren't helping the team. ■ Ntwari was kept until fans hated him. We could see he's struggling to adapt, but many still believed in him. Instead of limiting his game time in the early days until he adapted, the coach kept him there until fans started to see Ntwari as the only problem, he wasn't protected and now with Bvuma leaking, we can't look at Ntwari with the hope and positively we had in pre-season. ▪︎ Yet, Ntwari will go to his national team next week and pull world-class saves. ■ Same as Lilepo, he can be off for 60 minutes and just show up in a few moments but he will stay in the field, because once the coach trusts you, he doesn't want you to stay a second out even when you're not showing up. The only motivated player currently is Yusuf Maart because he doesn't even need a good performance to be preferred in this team. We need less emotional decisions, more tactical decisions, and support for these players. Let these boys know that a good performance will earn you a place in the team. Not being loved by the coach when you're not adding any quality to our game📝

This Chinese developer runs 9 agents on Claude Code under a GPT-5.5 orchestrator and they close 500 client tasks a month without a single assistant. His client work is closed without him, on a single laptop and only three subscriptions. The entire system lives on one MacBook Pro M4 with 128 GB of memory and subscriptions to Claude Code and GPT-5.5 cost him approximately $300 a month. There is no CRM, no team, no office only a terminal window with 9 parallel streams. The orchestrator works with a simple system prompt: «You are the orchestrator of a client inbox. Classify every incoming email into 4 categories: code, content, analysis, communication. Delegate to the corresponding worker agent. When the result is ready, check it for completeness, send it to the client on my behalf, and mark the task as closed. Do not ask clarifying questions.» And the orchestrator checks the inbox every 30 seconds, classifies fresh emails, and distributes them to 9 worker agents on Claude Code, each of whom is responsible for their own class of tasks. Just listened to Bill gates podcast with sam, and it's very clear that OpenAI is purposely sandbagging Even Bill - who initially did not expect GPT-5 to be much better than GPT-4, mentioned how amazed he was by the demos hes seen. Right now, everyone thinks chatGPT sucks (including Sam himself) but remember, OpenAI hasn't released a new class of models in ~1.5 years. This is creating the illusion that models have hit their upper limit, and that progress will continue to be slow But if you listen to the podcast , its extremely clear how quickly we're going to accelerate from models doing basic, tasks to actually being able run companies. But personally i think 2024 will be the an even bigger year than the "chatGPT" moment we had. Literally no one (myself included) is ready for the rate of change we're about to experience as humanity. Most companies will be eaten by an agi-like software, and yes that includes most apps you use today. Definitely scary, but there is a sense of calm, knowing that if they're right, all of humanity is in this together. but i am excited to see what I can build with such technology

$How I Build My Teams I always liked the idea of ‘possession football’: - Control the game. - A tool to develop players. - The opponent can’t score without the ball. But I built it the wrong way: “Keep the ball. Find a gap to attack.” This turned into “side-to-side” passing. It was boring and ineffective. \ The idea. So, I flipped the idea: Instead of controlling to attack, we attack to control. Play as vertical as possible (while maintaining control). If not possible, pass back. Avoid sideways passes. For better connections and counter-press, we use a vertical, narrow structure: These simple decisions lead to short, vertical, and diagonal passes. This is what I call 'vertical possession' football. \ Make it work. The idea is simple. The execution is not. Over the years, I’ve worked to close the gap between vision and reality. (watch example below) My goal is to get closer to my vision every day. But as Vince Lombardi said: “Perfection is unattainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” Here’s my plan to 'catch excellence': 1. Build it my way. Ignore opinions. Opinions lead to conformity. We reduce our philosophy to its essence—and build from there. Everything else is a distraction. 2. Stick to it. We limit ourselves to core principles, and stick to them. When there’s a problem, we don’t change the idea—we improve its execution. 3. Eliminate waste. Building a style of play is like carving a statue. You start with a block of marble and chip away everything unnecessary. All that’s left is the sculpture. We do the same. We cut every unnecessary touch and step: - Fewer touches mean we need less time and space. We have more space to be creative. - The simpler it gets, the more recognizable the style. 4. Obsess over the players. We don’t adapt to opponents. We focus on our players. That's what matters in the long run. When our ideas work, we can compete against anyone. 5. Develop technical and creative players as a by-product. - Possession: Many touches to refine technique. - Vertical: No “easy” sideways passes. Learn to play in tight spaces. - Control: Avoid hectic football. Control the ball to make deliberate decisions. 6. One Training Structure. We compress our philosophy into one structure. Then, we repeat it every session. We make our style of play a habit. And we develop the tools to execute it. 7. Master a Few Exercises. We repeat a small set of core games over and over. We focus on improving execution, not on new drills. The better we execute, the faster we get to our vision. 8. Bottleneck Coaching. We can’t predict what happens, so we don’t over-plan. Instead, we prepare for what might happen. This liberates our coaching: Rather than sticking to pre-planned coaching points, we solve the most critical issue—the bottleneck. 9. Competition Drives Development. Games are the core of our training. Players compete to win. They force each other to get better and better, session after session. 10. Positive Team Culture. I used to react with anger when things didn’t go right. And yes, it can work in the short term. But to build something great, players must stay on the path for a long time. This is more likely when they enjoy the process. Positive reinforcement is harder to do, but more sustainable. \ What's next? That's the plan. Now, it’s all about execution. I'll keep you updated.$

Today, I am delighted to announce the launch of Walden Robotics to tackle just that. We started this year and are coming out of stealth today with a $300M seed round backed by some of the most serious companies and investors in the world. They have seen firsthand our general-purpose robots being useful in production on day one, and getting better every day after. You can see a glimpse of what we've been building in the video below. Physical AI has gone through a rapid phase transition, in part thanks to pioneering research from my friends and co-founders Russ Tedrake , Ben Burchfiel , Siyuan Feng, Rareș Ambruș , and many others at Walden. But from our long experience working together with co-founders Kerri Fetzer-Borelli and Dave Johnson, we learned how hard it is to deploy cutting-edge AI in a real, live, incredibly sophisticated production environment with an intricate ballet of automation and human ingenuity. That’s why we deliberately created Walden Robotics as a full-stack, human-centric, customer-focused robotics company from the start: we seeded the company with a world-class team across hardware, software, AI, deployment, operations, product, and business talent, so we could continuously optimize our whole system end-to-end, deeply and purposefully, from real-world experience with real customers.
