Respectfully, air conditioning isn't meant to address floods or volcanos. It contributes CO2 but military emissions and the net activity of the capitalist class produce far more. We are going to need more cooling systems and vastly more energy efficient housing.

@pmagn I agree, the more #electricity needed,used, the more weather extremes we will get. Data, fulfilment centres,mega warehouses, AI, all need electricity, all add to the destruction of water ,Co2 absorbing green fields.

It's really scary watching these events put together like this. So much devastation it breaks my heart. I don't know why its so hard for people to get it- we did this. We raised the baseline and the weather is the response. The lack of accountability or action is astounding.

As long as we are building fossil fuel plants to supply the electricity for air conditioning, air conditioning will only make it worse.
