For those wondering why the Naval Landing was rough: A carrier pilot is trained to instantly put down the aircraft once it hits the deck, as if it were to do it slowly like the Air Force one, it wouldn’t have the room to fully touch down… A carrier aircraft also has stronger landing gear to absorb the impact of the constantly-moving deck…

Air Force jets do this to create drag and help slow down the jet. Navy jets slam the deck like they're landing on an aircraft carrier.

Any landing you walk away from was a good landing. Any landing that allows you to take the plane back up again was a great landing.

This is because navy pilots are trained to land on carriers, which is almost no run way at all.
