Just looks like normal paint stripper to me, all the gunk ends up on the floor.

Not a laser stripping paint, but just a chemical stripper. The lights seen are just strong lights. These are needed so that workers can inspect the aircraft skin visualy if there are any cracks or defects present that were previously hidden by the paint & primer they removed.
