sharpen your knife

Yes but how

$30 whetstone turns out to be pretty simple

Ohhh you’re doing it from frozen? That honestly makes it way easier cuz I am always forgetting to defrost. I need to try this

I nearly messaged you yesterday asking how you pull this off. I reverse seared 3 killer steaks two nights ago but the whole kitchen got covered in meat vapor and wife was pissed. Air fry is the hedge. Going to freeze my next load of steaks and give this a go! Thank you

Don’t do this! 🥲 As a former chef, you want the colour on the outside (maillard reaction) and cooking it slowly inside to get that perfect medium rare (only way a steak should be eaten) Frozen meat is the only way in an airfryer but it won’t give you colour on the outside and not a secure way to get it right every time. Traditional cast iron pans are the only right way, imo.

Looks good! I'd still take a Chuletón on the plancha over this.

fuck me that looks bad lmao

Show your steak

Looks good. Cooking from frozen is easiest since you can skip fridge storage, same for freezer to sous vide to grill.

You should slice it with your bread slicer you love so much

Thats it you’ve convinced me to get one of these. Very nice colour

Works for me every time! Obviously BBQ or cast iron pan is better, but when you eat steak every day, sometimes twice a day, using the airfryer is very convenient. You don't have to wait until the BBQ is hot, and you don't get all the smoke you get using the pan.

I've been telling this to my friends for years. 18 mins 180 === perfection

not bad. but no match against cast iron.

Air fried eggs next?

Have you tried one with double the thickness but is not frozen. Might work.

Unfrozen works too, is more like from the grill where there's more a gradient towards red. 210°C, 2x5min to get medium rare for this thickness. Difference between rare and well done is only ~3 minutes though, so also depends on your airfryer.

Eww. Cook it properly !

stop I beg u

You ruined it. No charred crust and looks like you cut it too soon, the flavors all over that cutting board

madlad tried a frozen solid rib eye yday but it's too thiccc like almost 3cm was waiting for this video cuz you have entrecote (?) that are obviously more slim bought this in bulk so will just pan fry it but will get a better batch after bought the ninja crispi cuz of you tho

It should work maybe longer?

Seville Spain not frozen 😒😣😫

Do you actually prefer it this way or you don't have 5 minutes to fry it in a good pan?

Do you air fry it in plastic like your supposed to do with hotdogs or remove plastic first

"airfryer steak only if frozen" frozen steak > thawed steak fight me. also science backs this

I made lamb chops in an air fryer, and they turned out really delicious.

I been getting my meat from a farmer here in Egmond for around 3 years now. Grassfed, vacuum sealed. Tossing them in airfryers right out of the freezer. Nobody believed me.

Honestly doesn't look very good

Do you season the meat? If so, before you freeze it or after its pulled from freezer?

Yes salt and pepper and beef tallow

So after

I dont own an air fryer. So sadly im not able to attempt this xD

Can you do frozen chicken next

Steak is just next level goodness

I kinda like my steak "Pittsburg Rare", so I don't think air-fry is gonna work.

The diversity of posts, keeps us on the edge 😂

Came for the tech entrepreneurship advice now thinking of buying second air fryer and doing frozen stake 🤣
