Airplane mode, explained

Do they describe this anywhere on flights? Feel like ppl would appreciate knowing what the purpose is for going 'airplane mode' on their phone

I never knew about what airplane mode untill I seen this

Albert's version of airplane mode: belly up on the couch, ears out, completely unreachable.

It's wild to think that your phone is basically screaming at maximum volume trying to reach a tower miles below, which drains your battery and creates unnecessary interference. Great visual explanation!
