Airport security is getting more convenient TSA! At select airports, eligible travelers will be able to meet or see off family members and friends right at their gate.

@TSA Have you ever gone through security at airports? Even TSA lines are long enough without putting thru "friends & family". Sorry don't agree with this.

@TSA Sorry, but it is not "security" It never has been. TSA was created to catch terrorists. Since their creation how many have they caught? Oh, thats right, ZERO.

@SecMullinDHS @TSA This sounds horrible and will increase security wait times, increase security risks, and make flying even worse at crowded airports.

@TSA In my opinion while this sounds all wonderful and good, its going to make getting thru TSA longer and the availability if seating even less. At this point I am not a fan. I do support this for those who need assistance or to be escorted.

@TSA I never even thought that would be possible ever again. I'm surprised.

@TSA More convenient? Adding more bodies in the lines to be scanned so they can then reduce the available seats in the departure area does NOT equate to more convenience bub.

@TSA It's time to get rid of TSA.

@TSA Airports are infested with visa workers that can’t speak English . It’s very concerning as a traveler . I mean who’s hiring visa workers ?

@TSA Such an unnecessary and stupid idea that no one asked for.

@TSA that doesn't sound like a safety improvement.

@TSA God no. Bad on so many levels

@TSA Sounds very secure and not chaotic at all. 🙄

@TSA But you have to pay money if your drivers license is old and you DO have a ticket. Security isn't your concern apparently

@TSA Where are all those mass deportations that the majority of Americans voted for.

@TSA 🚨🚨🚨

@TSA @TSA needs to be privatized or abolished. Select airports and eligible travelers = basically no one.

@TSA Never has the word “eligible” ever carried more weight. I’ll take “‘Things I thought I’d never see’ for $1000, Alex.”

@TSA Can we get the illegals out of the country and then focus on these unimportant things?

@TSA

@TSA Ok, how about now you hire TSA management and FSDs who care about airline safety and security? Taraskiewicz would love that.

@TSA How is sending more people through an already crowded security screening area “more convenient”? Nope, I don’t like it. Stick to getting the illegals out.

@SecMullinDHS @TSA This is not a good idea. It makes the system less safe.

@TSA That’s awesome, I miss this. I saw Sam Kinison just hours before he died, picking up my friend at the gate.

@TSA FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE 🙏🏼 DONT DO IT! Signed Gate agent

his tells me one thing: more security personnel, more bureaucracy, and a bigger circus. Airports are already crowded enough. Unless you're sending off a child, a deploying service member, or someone who genuinely needs assistance, there isn't much reason for everyone and their second cousin to be wandering around beyond security. And why is this even a headline? That's the question I always ask. When someone is working this hard to get me to look at their left hand, I can't help but wonder what the right hand is doing. A policy change at an airport gets blasted across the news cycle while inflation, debt, infrastructure, government waste, and a dozen other issues quietly wait in the corner. P.S. who hacked my shit!!! Menace

@TSA

@SecMullinDHS @TSA Get off Fox and Work! Mass Deportations!!!!!

@TSA Convenience is good, but safety and crowd control have to come first. Airports are already busy, and not everyone follows basic public rules. Still, I appreciate the U.S. government trying to make travel a little easier for families while keeping security in mind.

@TSA This will create more lines. Don't do it.

@TSA Can’t you be more transparent? If the government knows that immigrant families traditionally accompany their loved ones to the gate, expanding access to the secure area could have a very different purpose from the one being publicly presented!Beware!

@TSA Nice. Back to allowing thieves and scammers past the security checkpoint. - How idiotic can you get? - Fucktard MAGA doing Fucktard things. And right at the anniversary of 9/11 to boot.

STAND!!!!!!!! MAKE FLYING FRIENDLY AGAIN. My experience as a solo flyer started when I was 4 yrs old and I remember it was easy breezy with relatives coming right up to the gate to pick me up. The pilots and flight attendants greeted the passengers and distributed coloring books and crayons and pilot emblems to the rare little lone flyer like myself, everyone was kind, dressed tastefully, meals were served and there were NO disturbances from passengers. It would be a welcome return to those days. Ret. Judge Sybil V. Richards

@TSA Whatever, the whole thing is bullshit. Only foreigners should be made to wait in lines. Fuck you.
