Justice Has Yet to Be Served: Was Abdullah Al-Sakka, the UAE-Backed Rapid Support Militia Member Accused of Torturing Qisma Ali Omar to Death, Really Captured? On the evening of Thursday, July 30, and the morning of Friday, July 31, 2026, a video circulated showing several prisoners from the Rapid support mitltiia. They were reportedly captured by fighters from Sudan’s Joint Force during recent battles in North Kordofan. Sudanese social media accounts, along with several widely followed news platforms, quickly claimed that one of the men in the video was Abdullah Al-Sakka, whose name has been associated with one of the most painful and horrifying videos to emerge from Sudan’s war. In that video, a young woman named Qisma Ali Omar appeared suspended by her arms from a tree. Her legs were tied as her body swung while she endured severe pain and humiliation. Some commentators viewed reports of Al-Sakka’s capture as the beginning of justice for Qisma. Sudanese Echo therefore examined the available material. The investigation raised serious questions about the identity of the prisoner and suggested that claims announcing Abdullah Al-Sakka’s capture may have been premature. Qisma Ali Omar and the Crime That Shocked Sudan By September 11, 2025, the video showing the torture of Qisma Ali Omar had spread widely across Sudanese social media, provoking an enormous wave of anger. The footage showed a young woman tied to a tree with a rope. Her hands and legs were restrained in a scene that reflected deliberate cruelty and systematic humiliation. The victim was soon identified as Qisma Ali Omar, a young woman from Nyala who belonged to the Zaghawa community. During September 2025, her name became a symbol of grief and public outrage, as well as a powerful reminder of the crimes committed against civilians during Sudan’s war. According to accounts that circulated with the video, members of the Rapid support mitltiia accused Qisma of cooperating with their opponents after she sent a voice message in the Zaghawa language to one of her relatives. Reports indicate that she was tortured while suspended from the tree and later died. The man filming her could be heard questioning her and treating her with extreme cruelty, in footage that triggered outrage inside Sudan and beyond. During the same period, the Rapid support mitltiia acknowledged in a statement that the man visible in the video was wearing the uniform commonly used by its fighters. The militia denied that its members were involved and claimed that the footage had been fabricated. Open-source investigations conducted after the video circulated led researchers to an account bearing the name Abdullah Al-Sakka. Material posted on the account contained indications that its owner was directly connected to the Rapid support mitltiia. Images of the account owner were then compared with the man seen in the video of Qisma’s torture. These comparisons contributed to the widespread identification of Al-Sakka as the man accused of carrying out and filming the crime. The account had published 143 videos over several months. Some of the footage showed the man in Zalingei, Central Darfur, near facilities and locations used by the Rapid support mitltiia. Activists also circulated another video, reportedly filmed by a militia intelligence unit several days before Qisma’s torture. It appeared to show a young woman resembling Qisma being handed over to commanders from the Rapid support mitltiia. One person in the video can be heard saying: “This is the accused woman. She has now been handed over by Rapid Support intelligence.” The names of two men, Taha and Saeed, are also mentioned. The woman’s phone is shown, along with a reference to a personal photograph that was allegedly among the materials used to accuse her. Accounts differ regarding the allegation made against Qisma. Some reports linked it to a voice message, while the second video referred to a personal photograph. Neither account provides any justification for her unlawful detention, torture or humiliation. What happened to Qisma forms part of a wider pattern in which civilians are accused of supporting the Sudanese army, before those allegations are used to justify their arrest, abuse and public humiliation. Is the Prisoner in the Video Abdullah Al-Sakka? Sudanese Echo began its verification process by extracting the clearest available frames from the prisoners’ video. The images were enhanced and compared with several photographs of Abdullah Al-Sakka taken from his previous accounts. The investigation also used artificial intelligence tools to assist in comparing the visible facial characteristics of the two men. The preliminary results indicated that the likelihood of the prisoner being Abdullah Al-Sakka was low. Sudanese Echo treated this result with caution. Facial comparison tools can be affected by camera angles, lighting, video quality, image compression, changes in body weight, injuries and differences in facial expression. Image enhancement tools also have significant limitations when applied to low-quality footage. They cannot recover every original detail lost from the source material. Their results therefore cannot independently confirm or exclude a person’s identity. Even with these limitations, the technical result, visual examination and apparent differences between the men’s facial features all weakened the widely circulated claim regarding the prisoner’s identity. Sudanese Echo then contacted Sudanese military intelligence and requested official confirmation of the prisoner’s identity, including whether Abdullah Al-Sakka was among the group shown in the video. The publication had received no response by the time this report was prepared. Sudanese Echo subsequently reviewed the well-known account attributed to Abdullah Al-Sakka. No recent activity was found that could establish his current location or circumstances. The account’s most recent post was published in February 2026. The account’s inactivity does not establish that its owner was captured. It also provides no clear indication of whether he was killed, injured or had disappeared. During the investigation, Sudanese Echo found material published on July 9, 2026, showing a man believed to be Abdullah Al-Sakka with apparent injuries. The material can be viewed through the following link: The link leads to a post on a TikTok account with the username user7332654721704. The post was published approximately 22 days before the prisoners’ video appeared. This time difference provides an important point of reference when examining the visible differences between the two men, although it does not independently establish the prisoner’s identity. As the investigation continued, Sudanese Echo located another account that appeared to be associated with Abdullah Al-Sakka. The account had published new material only hours before this report was prepared. One of its recent posts can be accessed through the following link: The link leads to a video posted by a TikTok account with the username b276521. The continued activity on this account provides another indication that weakens the claim that Abdullah Al-Sakka is the prisoner shown in the video. At the same time, the account’s activity does not prove that Al-Sakka personally uploaded the recent material. The account may be managed by another person, the footage may be old and reposted, or the content may have been published on his behalf. Sudanese Echo therefore treated the account’s activity as a lead requiring further examination, rather than conclusive evidence of Al-Sakka’s location or current status. A further development emerged as the investigation expanded, this time concerning the prisoner’s identity directly. Sudanese Echo found posts published by accounts attributed to members or supporters of the Rapid support mitltiia. The posts called for the release of a man reportedly captured during fighting in North Kordofan. These accounts used the same prisoners’ video that had been published by the Joint Force and later circulated by other accounts claiming the prisoner was Abdullah Al-Sakka. When Sudanese Echo traced the name mentioned in the posts, the prisoner was identified as Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko. The publication also found that accounts supporting the Rapid support mitltiia had circulated the same video while demanding the release of Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko. They used the exact footage that other accounts had cited as evidence that the prisoner was Abdullah Al-Sakka. One of the relevant posts can be viewed through the following link: A visual review of the available material indicates that the facial features of Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko, as seen in the circulated posts, more closely resemble those of the prisoner than the available images of Abdullah Al-Sakka. This conclusion should still be treated carefully. Social media posts may contain inaccurate or incomplete information. Confirming the prisoner’s identity would require independent evidence, including official documents, clearer photographs or confirmation from a credible authority holding the individual. The association of Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko’s name with the same video represents a significant development in the verification process. It provides a plausible explanation for the prisoner’s identity and is consistent with the earlier findings showing that the evidence connecting the man in the video to Abdullah Al-Sakka was weak. Taken together, the visual and technical comparisons, the absence of official confirmation, the July 9 footage, the recent activity on the second account and the appearance of Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko’s name alongside the prisoners’ video indicate that the captive is most likely Gadim Hamdan Adam Koko. Justice for Qisma and Other Victims It is understandable that Sudanese people want to see everyone involved in the torture of Qisma and other victims brought before a court. Achieving that goal requires accurate information that protects the integrity of the evidence and assists investigators in identifying those genuinely responsible for the crime. Misidentifying a prisoner could give the real suspect an opportunity to disappear. It could also damage the credibility of the documentation and reduce a crime requiring a serious criminal investigation to a rapidly circulating emotional claim. Qisma Ali Omar’s killing forms part of a wider pattern of abuses committed by the Rapid support mitltiia against civilians. The militia’s ability to continue committing such crimes has been enabled by the military, financial and logistical support it receives from the United Arab Emirates. One fact remains established: Qisma appeared in an exceptionally brutal video, restrained and suspended from a tree. What happened to her demands an independent criminal investigation capable of identifying everyone involved in her detention, torture and filming. Justice requires the full truth to be established, the real perpetrators to be arrested, the evidence to be preserved, witnesses to be heard and those responsible to be brought before a fair court. Until that happens, the most accurate conclusion remains: Justice has yet to be served. #Sudan #RSFIsATerroristOrganisation #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

🚨 Another online Islamist eruption This time, the employee accused of posting extremist, hateful content online has a taxpayer-funded gig! We have happened upon yet another online Islamist eruption, thanks to our whistleblower friends at Leviathan. Astute viewers of this channel are likely aware that we’ve exposed numerous Islamist reprobates openly and proudly venting their hate online. They were employed at companies ranging from Air Canada and Telus to Scotiabank and the Royal Bank. You may have noticed we used the past-tense. That’s because all those online keyboard warriors were justifiably shown the door. But let’s be honest: all of those aforementioned companies essentially did the right thing for the wrong reason. I.e., they were seemingly OK with turning a blind eye to these Islamists venting hatred and only did something tangible once the spectre of a public relations black eye was imminent. And now comes the latest example of yet another online antisemitic hater. But there’s a twist, given that this guy has a government job. Meet Ammar Rizvi, who is employed by the Regional Municipality of York Region in Newmarket, Ont., just north of Toronto. That’s right, your tax dollars are hard at work employing this guy. Which is problematic, given that he is an open supporter of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where he has been observed glorifying and mourning terrorist figures such as Ayatollah Khomeini, Ayatollah Khamenei, and senior IRGC member Qassem Soleimani. The IRGC is a designated terrorist entity in Canada and has Canadian blood on its hands after shooting down that Ukrainian airliner in January 2020. He is also a frequent attendee of the radical Al-Quds rally, including the one that took place in Toronto earlier this month. For some reason, Rizvi doesn’t care for Indians all that much. Rizvi dehumanizes members of the Hindu Indian community by calling them “jeets”, “pajeets” and “poopjeets.” He has stated the following in writing: “India managed to hold onto their pagan religion. And now they eat cow shit and drink cow piss.” Rizvi also mocks those in the Iranian diaspora. He labels all Iranian protesters as “everyone dead,” claiming a woman he knows in Iran is “the only one left alive.” And Rizvi calls Iranians protesting against the Islamic Republic “diasportards [who] keep crying.” Predictably, Rizvi uses slurs when referring to Israelis. He calls Israelis “Zios”, a derogatory term created by David Duke, the former head of the Ku Klux Klan, who related Zionism (i.e., the belief in Israel's existence) to “fascism, communism, [and] Nazism.” We’re sure Rizvi’s rants and his support of terrorism are of interest to the Iranian, Indian, Jewish, and Israeli communities, especially given that taxpayer dollars are funding his position within their municipality’s government. We reached out to Rizvi. He left us a voicemail stating he would provide a statement in writing via email. We haven’t received it, and we did reach out to him a few more times, but so far, it’s been radio silence. We also reached out to the media relations department of York Region via email and voicemail. Here were my questions: 1⃣. Is York Region aware of Rizvi’s postings? 2⃣. Are such posts a breach of York Region’s Code of Conduct? 3⃣. If so, is any action being taken regarding these posts? 4⃣. Of note, I saw that the most recent media release on your website is dated March 9, 2026 and is headlined: “York Region denounces violence targeting Jewish communities.” If this is the case, how is it ok for Rizvi to spew anti-Jew and anti-Israeli hate? By the way, that March 9th release about antisemitism in York Region features a raft of quotes attributed to Eric Jolliffe, the York Region Chairman and CEO. It states, in part, “On behalf of York Regional Council and the Regional Municipality of York, I am deeply troubled by the recent shootings targeting synagogues across the Greater Toronto Area, including one incident in the City of Vaughan. “Places of worship must be safe spaces for prayer, reflection and gathering. Acts of violence and intimidation directed at any faith community are unacceptable and have no place in York Region. These incidents are alarming and deeply distressing for members of the Jewish community and for residents across our cities and towns who believe in respect, safety and inclusion.” As well, Vaughan Mayor Stephen Del Duca, who has been outspoken when it comes to antisemitism in his city and region, was on Newstalk 1010 last Monday. Del Duca said he wants to Prime Minister Mark Carney to come to York Region to meet with members of the Jewish community. And he rightfully notes that: “Jew hatred has gone largely unchecked.” We finally did receive a statement from Patrick Casey, Director of Corporate Communications at the Regional Municipality of York. Casey states that they are aware of the allegations and that "York Region takes these types of matters seriously and is currently investigating." “York Region denounces violence targeting any community and remains committed to fostering welcoming and inclusive communities, as affirmed by the Inclusion Charter for York Region, where diversity is celebrated and where everyone can develop to their full potential. As this remains an internal staffing matter, York Region will continue to manage the issue through our standard protocols and procedures, and we have no further comment.” OK, we’ll take Mr. Casey at his word that this is under investigation. We shall follow up once that investigation is completed. In the meantime, perhaps Mayor Del Duca should forget about courting Carney. After all, we already know where the Prime Minister stands regarding antisemitism. Rather, the mayor should reach out to Eric Joliffe. Mr. Jolliffe is the chairman and CEO of York Region. Do you know prior to taking on this role, Jolliffe was Chief of the York Regional Police Service? Do you know the slogan for the York Regional Police is “Deeds speak”? Translation: tangible actions are more meaningful than hollow words. David Menzies

🔊 CHURCH: The Feast of Trumpets begins TOMORROW, FRIDAY 9/11–SUNDAY 9/13—and LOOK at the convergence surrounding it this year! Israel at the center. The nations focused on dividing the land. Iran and its bow bending, ready to break! War expanding. Earthquakes. Intense volcanic activity. Signs in the heavens. And all of it converging as the appointed time of the TRUMPET arrives this year on a Sabbath—A DAY OF REST! ALL THE SIGNS ARE NOT QUIETING DOWN—THEY ARE INTENSIFYING! KEEP LOOKING UP!!! 🎺QUICKLY FIRST — WHAT IS THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS? The Feast of Trumpets—Yom Teruahin the Bible—is one of the LORD's seven appointed feasts. It begins on 1 Tishrei, the first day of the seventh month, and God commanded it to be a day of rest, holy assembly, and trumpet blasts: 📖“In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.” Lev 23:24 👉🏼The trumpet was used in Scripture to call God's people together, announce movement of the camps, sound an alarm, and proclaim important occasions. And this year is extra special! 🎺Trumpets begins this Friday at sunset September 11, 2026, and 1 Tishrei falls on a Sabbath—God's day of REST. That isn't extremely rare, but the fact that the appointed time of the trumpet falls on the day of rest immediately makes me think of this verse, Isaiah 26:20: But look at what comes BEFORE: 📖 “Your dead shall live... Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust... And the earth shall cast out the dead.” Is 26:19 Then AFTER: 📖 “Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past.” Is 26:20 And the next verse tells us why: 📖 “For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity...” Is 26:21 🔗So, look at the prophetic sequence here: FIRST, resurrection. THEN, “Come, My people”—enter the chambers, hide, and rest. And AFTER that comes the indignation upon the earth. THIS MAKES US THINK ABOUT PAUL: 📖 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” 1 Thes 4:16–17 Remember originally there were no chapter breaks—so after saying this Paul points directly to the Day of the Lord: 📖 “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren... you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night.” 1 Thes 5:1–2 Look at Paul's train of thought: 👉🏼Trumpet of God 👉🏼 Dead in Christ rise 👉🏼Church caught up 👉🏼Then Paul immediately turns to the Day of the LORD And centuries before Paul, look again at Isaiah's picture: 👉🏼The dead arise 👉🏼“Come, My people” 👉🏼Enter your chambers 👉🏼 Hide until the indignation passes 👉🏼 The LORD comes to punish the inhabitants of the earth THE PARALLEL IS AMAZING! And this year—coincidentally— 1 Tishrei, the first full day of Trumpets—falls on the Sabbath, which is THE DAY OF REST!! I LOVE IT!! NOW — LOOK AT THE WORLD INTO WHICH THIS FEAST IS ARRIVING. This is where things get really interesting!! Because Trumpets 2026 is not arriving in a quiet world by any stretch of the imagination. It is arriving while the convergence we have already been watching seems to be getting LOUDER! 🗓️I posted last week about Joel already, so I'm gonna try to not repeat my self. But remember what Peter said in his inaugural message to the Church at Pentecost, when he pointed directly back to Joel: 📖 “And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.” Acts 2:19–20 🔔A QUICK NOTE HERE: Some understand the Day of the LORD as referring only to Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation. I understand it as the 7 year tribulation period of judgment associated with Daniel’s 70th Week—not only its final battle. 👉🏼Paul says the Day of the LORD comes “as a thief in the night,” when people are saying “Peace and safety!” and then “sudden destruction” comes upon them (1 Thes 5:2–3). After seven years of catastrophic judgment, nobody will be saying "peace and safety" as preparing for Armageddon. Back to what I was saying: since I wrote that post last week, the signs haven’t gotten quieter… THEY JUST KEEP PILING ON!!! ⚠️We’re not looking at one volcano and saying, “THIS IS JOEL.” We’re not looking at one earthquake, one war, one eclipse, or one column of smoke and saying, “PROPHECY FULFILLED.” WE’RE JUST LOOKING AT THE CLUSTER. WE ARE LOOKING AT THE CONVERGENCE AND THE PROPHETIC RESEMBLANCE! And look at what has been added to that picture just as we approach Trumpets: 🌋 ANAK KRAKATAU — INDONESIA A continuous eruptive episode lasting approximately 25 hours. Ash sent 50,000 feet into the atmosphere. Jakarta's international airport was forced to close. Nearly 3,000 flights disrupted. 341,000 passengers stranded. When I saw those towering plumes rising, I immediately thought of Joel’s language: “Pillars of smoke.” Fire. Ash. Towering plumes—so massive they were captured from space in NASA satellite imagery. 🔥 AND LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN INDONESIA AT THE SAME TIME. From September 1–7 alone, Indonesia's wildfire emissions reached 19.7 MILLION metric tons of CO₂—more than ONE-THIRD of the entire world's wildfire emissions during that period and 273% ABOVE the seasonal average. Authorities are calling this Indonesia's most intense wildfire season in 11 years, with massive haze now affecting millions of people. THE MIDDLE EAST IS NOT CALMING DOWN EITHER: ISRAEL — IRAN — AND NOW THE CONFLICT IS WIDENING: Last Thursday Prime Minister Netanyahu said: 🎙️“The achievements are immense, but there is still more to complete. I mean, first and foremost, the toppling of the regime. This regime in Iran — its end is near. It is weak, it is fighting for its life, it is faltering.” 🔔Remember what we're watching and waiting for. We're watching for that Jeremiah 49 “bow of Elam” to be broken, potentially opening a window of peace and security for Israel that could set the stage for Ezekiel 38. And as of September 10, the conflict is spreading even further. Iran reports attacks on ships near the Strait of Hormuz, while Houthi advances and attacks are putting the chokepoint Bab el-Mandeb at risk. Think about the geography: ⚠️ STRAIT OF HORMUZ — The world’s #1 oil chokepoint: DISRUPTED ⚠️ BAB EL-MANDEB — A critical global shipping chokepoint: AT RISK ⚠️ IRAN — ISRAEL — U.S. — HOUTHIS — SAUDI ARABIA THE WAR IS NOT CONTRACTING, IT IS WIDENING! AND THERE IS SOMETHING EVEN BIGGER HAPPENING AROUND ISRAEL RIGHT NOW. 🗡️As we approach Trumpets, two days ago, Sep 8th. international pressure for a TWO-STATE SOLUTION is intensifying again. The UK, France and Canada have announced new measures to protect that outcome—and they plan to take that effort directly to the UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY later this month. And THAT immediately brings us back to Joel once again. Because Joel doesn't only speak about blood, fire, pillars of smoke and signs in the heavens. He also tells us what happens when the NATIONS gather concerning ISRAEL: 📖 “I will also gather all nations… on account of My people, My heritage Israel… THEY HAVE ALSO DIVIDED UP MY LAND.” Joel 3:2 👉🏼THAT is the part of the convergence I don't want us to miss. Israel is not somewhere on the sidelines of this picture—ISRAEL IS AT THE CENTER. What makes this Trumpets season so extraordinary is THESE PARTICULAR PIECES coming together clearly at the same time. And THEN, on top of that geopolitical picture, look at what has been happening in the earth and the heavens. LET'S ZOOM OUT FOR A SECOND HERE. In just the last four weeks we have watched: 🌎 Major earthquakes — Colombia, Indonesia and Peru ⚫August 12 — Total solar eclipse 🔴August 27–28 — Deep partial lunar eclipse 🔥 September 1–7 — Indonesia wildfire emissions running 273% above the seasonal average 🌋 September 4–6 — Anak Krakatau’s extraordinary 25-hour eruptive episode 🇮🇱 September 8th: Growing international pressure for a TWO-STATE SOLUTION involving Israel’s land ⚔️ September 10th: Israel-Iran conflict continuing to widen across the region THIS IS THE VERY TIGHT CLUSTER WE’RE LOOKING AT!! And now, right as we arrive at TRUMPETS, listen to what Joel says: 📖“Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the LORD is coming, for it is at hand.” Joel 2:1 📜THE SAME PROPHET who spoke of blood, fire, pillars of smoke, the darkened sun and the blood moon ALSO CRIES: BLOW THE TRUMPET AND SOUND THE ALARM!! 👉🏼 Again—earthquakes happen, volcanoes erupt, fires burn, wars happen… ONE EVENT IS NOT OUR POINT—THE CONVERGENCE IS! We are not declaring Joel fulfilled. We are WATCHING, just as Scripture tells us to watch. We are watching the birth pains Jesus described while also seeing striking echoes of Joel’s prophetic language—and THAT is INCREDIBLY fascinating and worth paying attention to!!! 🔊Church: The Feast of Trumpets is here! Trumpets CALLED THE ASSEMBLY. Trumpets SIGNALED THE CAMP TO MOVE. Trumpets SOUNDED THE ALARM. And now the appointed time of the TRUMPET has arrived while the convergence we have been watching is not getting quieter… IT IS GETTING LOUDER! Earthquakes. Fire. Bloodshed. Pillars of smoke. Signs in the heavens. THE PRESSURE OF NATIONS WANTING TO DIVIDE ISRAEL. And the “bow of Elam” looking closer than ever to breaking! Scripture never told us to sleep through the signs—it told us to WATCH!!! So let’s KEEP WATCHING, KEEP PRAYING, KEEP PREACHING THE GOSPEL!! SOON WE WILL HEAR THE TRUMPET OF GOD, ENTER OUR CHAMBERS, AND FINALLY ENTER OUR DAY OF REST!! KEEP LOOKING UP!! Maranatha! 🤍 Come, Lord Jesus, COME!!!

From Creator to Founder: The Rollercoaster Journey of Building Chatter Social Man, what a journey it’s been so far. Four years ago, I was just another creator, spending late nights on Clubhouse during the height of the pandemic. Like so many others, I was searching for connection, for community, for something meaningful. But what I found there wasn’t just connection—it was purpose. Alongside my brother, Jonathan Bing, we built a nightly show that reached over 5 million people. Imagine that: 5 million lives touched by conversations that felt real and unfiltered, all on a platform that at its peak had 10 million monthly active users. Clubhouse was magic. But then the decline began. Watching the platform struggle, I couldn’t help but reflect: what made it great? What went wrong? And what could the future look like if we did things differently? The Spark of Chatter As a content creator, I understood the needs of both creators and users. I knew what excited people, what kept them engaged, and what made them leave. Clubhouse had tapped into something special, but it had missed the mark on scalability and sustainability. By September 2023, I couldn’t stop thinking about the potential for something new—something that brought back the magic of real-time interaction but made it scalable, engaging, and sticky. And so, I set out to build Chatter Social. But I wasn’t a tech founder. I didn’t have a background in software development or a network of Silicon Valley insiders. What I did have was determination and the belief that if I could bring the right people together, we could build something extraordinary. Building the Team The journey to build Chatter started with assembling a team. Through my network from my days on Clubhouse, I found Samir, my first CTO. He believed in the vision and was instrumental in getting the project off the ground. Shortly after, I connected with Tyler, our Head of Design, whose creativity brought life to our ideas. A developer joined us soon after, and we were off to the races. By the end of 2023, Samir had to step away due to other commitments, and we promoted the developer to CTO. At the same time, I brought on Banko, a Sony music executive, as our CMO. Banko’s connections led to one of our biggest early wins: landing Davido, a global superstar, as an owner-ambassador. To this day, I still marvel at the fact that Davido believed in our vision when all we had were Tyler’s Figma designs. From Dream to Reality Early 2024 was a whirlwind. We hired Yurii and Vasyl, two developers from Ukraine who brought incredible skill and dedication to the team. Vasyl, in particular, stood out as a leader and has since earned an equity position in the company. But despite these wins, we were facing growing pains. Our new CTO struggled to meet deadlines, and as a result, I found myself constantly pushing back the launch date. What started as a January release turned into February, then March, then April, then May. By then, people on Twitter Spaces—where I had been hyping up the platform—started doubting if we even had a product. Launch and Lessons June 1, 2024, marked a turning point. It was the day my son Noah was born and the day we launched Chatter in private beta. We started with just 40 users, but by the end of the month, we had grown to 1,000. The engagement was unbelievable. Users loved it, even though we had launched with just one feature: live rooms. This represented less than 20% of what we had planned, but it was enough to show that we were onto something big. In July, we launched our public beta on the App Store as an invite-only platform. Within 48 hours, Chatter ranked as a top 30 social app in over 30 countries. But our invite system throttled access, and most users couldn’t get in. While engagement metrics soared for those inside, our AWS costs exploded. In August, our AWS bill hit $10,000. By September, it had climbed to $15,000, and we were drowning in bugs and glitches. The breaking point came when our CTO became unresponsive, often disappearing during critical moments. Users were dropping off, frustrated by the issues, developers were confused and the team was also growing increasingly frustrated, I made the tough decision to let him go. A New Beginning Enter Horane, a long-time user of Chatter who had been with us since private beta. He was the first to discover some of the most innovative use cases for the platform and had a deep passion for its potential. After meeting him in person at a Chatter event, I knew he was the right person to step into the CTO role. When Horane took over, we discovered just how bad the situation was. Key areas of the codebase were locked, and there were no separate environments for development and production. Every fix seemed to break something else. But through sheer determination and countless 18-hour days, Horane stabilized the platform. Today, Chatter is far from perfect, but it’s stable. The bugs that plagued us have been reduced to moderate issues, and our core users—those who stuck with us through the chaos—are still engaged on the platform. Looking Ahead: Chatter V2 While the platform is stable now, we’ve shifted our focus to Chatter V2. This is where the magic really begins. V2 isn’t just an improvement; it’s a complete reimagining of the platform. It includes all the features we couldn’t release in V1 because we were too busy putting out fires. Imagine this: Chatter V1, with only one live feature, was incredibly sticky. Now think about what happens when we release a fully loaded platform with all the innovative features we’ve been working on behind the scenes. The possibilities are endless. V2 is slated to hit TestFlight by the end of December, with a public release in January 2025. And this time, we’re ready—not just with the product but with the lessons we’ve learned. The Hard Lessons This journey has taught me more than I ever thought possible: 1) Your Team is Everything: The right people can make or break your vision. Finding people who believe in your mission is just as important as finding people with the right skills. 2) Adaptability is Key: As a non-technical founder, I had to learn about development, DevOps, and product management on the fly. Challenges will push you to grow, whether you’re ready or not. 3) Trust the Process: Every setback, every delay, every bug—it all taught us something. Without those lessons, we wouldn’t be building the incredible V2 product we are today. 4) Resilience is Non-Negotiable: From technical disasters to predatory investors who tried to exploit my desperation, I’ve had to fight for this vision every step of the way. What’s Next December is shaping up to be an exciting month. We have some amazing events planned on the platform to close out the year, bringing our core community together as we prepare for the V2 launch. When V2 drops, it will mark a new era for Chatter. This isn’t just a social audio platform or a social audiovisual platform. Chatter is all about interactive experiences—making social media social again in ways that are truly unique. The public launch is slated for February 2025, and for the first time, we’ll have the marketing dollars to tell the world about Chatter. Our core community has been our biggest cheerleaders, and I can’t wait to see how the world reacts when they experience what we’ve built. Final Thoughts This has been the hardest year of my life, but also the most rewarding. Seedance 2.5 is incredible It can take you to any city in the world. Xin chào Việt Nam 🇻🇳 It feels like I actually traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam! 👇Feel free to add any city you’d like to visit to this prompt. HANOI TRAVEL VLOG — 30 SEC No reference image. The woman below is described in words and must be built from the text alone. SUBJECT: one Korean woman, early 20s, the only person the film follows. Small oval face with a soft jawline, large round eyes with double lids, a small straight nose, full coral-red lips, fair skin. Black wavy hair tied low at the nape and pulled forward over one shoulder, with loose strands left at the temples. A small gold hoop in each ear. Real Korean skin texture with visible pores — no doll-like AI smoothness, no beauty filter. The face established in the first shot is repeated exactly in every following shot: same features, same hair, same colour. She never morphs into a different person and no lookalike appears. OUTFIT (identical throughout): burgundy ribbed knit halter top, cream high-waist flared trousers, tan leather belt with a gold buckle, burgundy platform heeled sandals, a thin gold bracelet on one wrist. There is no changing shot. CAMERA: she is filming herself on her own phone. Most shots are selfies with her arm extended; objects and food are shot by turning the phone toward them. 16:9 landscape throughout, no black bars. 26mm phone lens, deep focus, neutral iPhone colour, handheld jolt on every step, autofocus landing a beat late, exposure lagging when she moves from bright to dark, a fingerprint smudge bleeding beside strong lights. No cinematic grading, no studio lighting, no glow fx. Background people stay out of focus and nobody looks at the camera for long. DIALOGUE: lines are short and land in one breath. An interjection plus one short sentence is fine, but never two complete sentences strung together. There is breath between them and they are never rushed into each other. Punctuation is used once — no doubled question marks or exclamation marks. The two Vietnamese greetings are not fluent — just phrases she has picked up. (0:00–0:02) — Hotel window, Hanoi morning reveal. Selfie, low angle. She shoves the curtain sideways and narrow tube houses under bundled cables open up behind her. The window blows out white, then the exposure catches up. Bright grin. Dialogue: "Xin chào~ 하노이 왔다!" Transition: Hard cut on beat (0:02–0:04) — Old Quarter junction, a river of motorbikes. Selfie, stepping out between the bikes. She swings the phone to her face while a stream of helmets and conical hats flows behind her, horns overlapping. Overcast daylight, deep focus. Dialogue: "이걸 어떻게 건너?" Transition: Fast cut on beat (0:04–0:06) — Street café. Selfie, arm short. She pushes a glass with condensed milk settled at the bottom toward the lens until it fills half the frame, eyebrows raised. Low backless stools, a stained yellow French wall behind. Transition: Snap cut (0:06–0:08) — Alley bánh mì cart. Insert, phone pointed down at her hands. A baguette split over the charcoal is handed to her in newspaper and she peels the paper down with her fingertips. Steam rises and a few sprigs of coriander stick out of the split. White tube light on the cart, a parked motorbike beside it. Transition: Cut on natural movement (0:08–0:09.75) — Huc Bridge reveal. She raises the phone from her face and tilts it up until the red wooden bridge crossing the lake fills the frame. Natural daylight, sky blown out behind a banyan tree. Her mouth opens slightly. Transition: Soft cut mid-upward motion (0:09.75–0:12) — Train Street café. Selfie. On a low stool beside the track she is holding a coffee glass in both hands; hearing it come she sets the glass down and pulls her stool back against the wall. She looks at the lens, then sideways, and her face collapses into a laugh as a train comes out of the far end of the lane and passes an arm's length away. Dialogue: "헐 진짜 온닷ㅋㅋㅋㅋ" Transition: Cut on the end of the laugh (0:12–0:13.75) — Old Quarter, the 36 streets. Follow from behind, phone low. She shoulders through the packed lane with the bánh mì, finishes the last piece and folds the newspaper away. Unlit lanterns and signs stacked tight overhead, people pushing past. Overcast afternoon light. Transition: Cut on forward movement (0:13.75–0:15.5) — Back seat of a cyclo. Her hands are empty now — the phone low at knee height in one hand, the rail in the other. The street slides past under the folded canopy, the driver's back swaying in front. She looks out, not at the lens. The music drops a beat, leaving only wheels and horns. Transition: Snap cut (0:15.5–0:18) — Phở shop. From here the image is camcorder: blooming tape, light noise, late focus. The camera is fixed at eye level across the counter, no phone or camera visible in frame. Medium. She sits down on a low blue stool under a hand-painted Phở sign. The owner sets a steaming bowl of beef phở down — thin-sliced beef, rice noodles, spring onion, a side plate of sprouts and basil. Dialogue: "쌀국수! 이거 먹으러 왔어~" Transition: Cut on the bowl landing (0:18–0:20) — Lifting the noodles. Macro, phone lowered to the bowl, shallow focus. She draws rice noodles up out of the clear broth with her chopsticks, steam climbing. The steam crosses the lens and one side of the frame hazes over and clears. Only the broth and the slurping at the next stool. Transition: Cut with the noodles still raised (0:20–0:22) — First mouthful. Selfie, handheld. She pulls in a big mouthful, closes her eyes and opens them. Her shoulders drop and she nods once at the lens. Just after sundown, the white fluorescent light of the shop. Dialogue: "미쳤다 진짜." Transition: Cut where her face softens (0:22–0:23.5) — The broth. Selfie, close. She lifts the bowl in both hands, tips it back, sets it down and lets out a breath. The lens fogs with steam. Sound only. Transition: Cut back to phone image quality (0:23.5–0:27) — Tạ Hiện beer street ★signature. She steps into the narrow lane on an extended-arm selfie, walking between the rows of low plastic stools set out on the ground, and slowly lifts her head. Red, yellow and green lanterns hung low across the lane slide over her face and the same colours bleed across the wet ground. Rack focus — her face sharp, the signs behind spreading. Practical light only, no glow. 60% slow motion. Transition: Soft cut with her head still up (0:27–0:30) — Long Biên Bridge, night reveal. Close selfie → arm extends → the river and the Hanoi night open up below. Wind pushes her bangs across her eyes once. Natural night phone exposure. Dialogue: "그럼 모두 tạm biệt~!" She waves broadly at the camera and that same hand covers the lens as the frame goes dark. AUDIO: real location sound over the music. Unbroken motorbike horns and engines, stools scraping the pavement, charcoal sizzling, a train horn and rails, cyclo wheels, broth boiling and chopsticks, slurping at the next stool, night street noise, wind. Her muttering is natural Korean. CONSISTENCY: the same face, the same hair and the same clothes in every shot. Hands and chopsticks are natural with no smeared fingers. No text, no subtitles, no logo and no watermark on screen. No filming equipment is visible in frame. FINALLY: this has to look like footage a real person shot on a phone. Nothing about the face, the skin or the movement should read as AI-generated. Every line of dialogue is enunciated clearly, syllable by syllable — no slurring, no swallowed syllables, no clipped word endings, and the tense consonants and final consonants of Korean are pronounced accurately. Expressions and gestures are not performed; they are what the moment would naturally produce.

I am the Director of the White House Office of Extraterrestrial Affairs. In 2024 this government completed the most thorough search for extraterrestrial life in human history. We checked the sky. We checked the files. We declassified the saucers. The verdict came back: nothing. No life out there. Not one. So I closed the telescope. I opened the window. I pointed it at a Home Depot. Three million by lunch. The trick was always the word. *Alien* had been sitting in the science fiction aisle for sixty years and we were too shy to use it in a press release. The dehumanization was already written. It was just shelved under Fantasy. This year I moved it to Policy. Same word. New department. My department. I should explain the jurisdiction, because there are two of us and we do not speak. Down the hall is the Department of War. It used to be the Department of Defense, but defense sounded woke, so we changed the name for two billion dollars, half of it letterhead. They renamed it back to what it was in 1789, before someone noticed in 1949 that the old acronym, N-M-E, sounded too much like *enemy.* We have now re-adopted the name they abandoned for sounding like the thing it does. I find this clarifying. The signage alone is seven hundred thousand buildings. We are spending a billion dollars on new doors so the doors can say War. The Department of War runs and has a tab for UFOs. Real ones. They post the actual files. The saucers. The eyewitnesses. The intelligence officer left "virtually speechless." They are searching the sky in earnest, declassifying everything, and what they keep finding is *nothing.* No craft confirmed. No biology confirmed. Decades of looking up and the honest answer is: unresolved. So you have two federal agencies, one word, opposite directions. searches the heavens for aliens and finds none. I open a window and find three million. They declassify the ones that don't exist. I classify the ones that do. They got a press release. I got a tip line. Guess which one rang. We are, technically, hunting the same species. They just keep aiming the telescope up, and I keep telling them, gently, at the inter-agency sync: lower it. The homepage was mine. ALIENS DECLASSIFIED. THEY WALK AMONG US. I tested "Immigration Portal." Eleven percent scroll. I tested *the truth's out there,* and a White House official told a reporter, on the record, that the strategy was to "draw eyeballs." We drew eyeballs. The truth was out there. It was in a parking lot in Bakersfield, getting into a white van we are now contractually obligated to call a craft. In 1938 a man read a story about an alien invasion over the radio and the country panicked in the streets, and for ninety years that was taught as a cautionary tale, the danger of a broadcast that makes people believe an invasion is real. We studied that broadcast. We did not study it as a warning. We studied it as a launch. The difference between Orson Welles and this office is that he apologized the next morning, and we put a counter on it. I named the van the Mothership. I named the prison Area 51. I named the 5 a.m. knock First Contact. I named all of it from the third chair. I keep a felt-tip for naming and a Mont Blanc for the part that can't be undone. Then we made the cards. I want to be precise, because people assume I'm exaggerating. We took the faces of the captured and we printed them as trading cards. "Worst of the Worst." Mugshot, nationality, charges, and a weakness level, and the weakness level was a snowflake, and the snowflake meant us. We are the weakness. We were proud of that. When a children's franchise objected that these were, in fact, their cards, our official response, which I helped draft, was: "To arrest them is our real test. To deport them is our cause." We set the abduction to the cartoon's theme song. Gotta catch 'em all. The first half is the slogan. The second half is the quota. A man told Congress in 2023 we were hiding non-human biologics. Everyone pictured a grey on a slab. Cute. We do run a reverse-engineering program. We take the biologic. We study what it makes. It makes the drywall. The 4 a.m. milking. The lettuce. And the lettuce is round now, because forty percent of it stayed in the dirt with the only people who knew where the dirt was. We reverse-engineered the alien completely. The blueprint was a back. We call the biologic "labor." We classify the screaming as ambient. Identification is a science here. We do not arrest at random. We read the markings. A crown inked on a forearm. A soccer crest. We have catalogued the species by its tattoos the way Linnaeus catalogued the finch. One of the specimens turned out to be autistic and the crown was just a crown, but the taxonomy held, because the taxonomy is not falsifiable, that is what makes it a taxonomy. I have a desk for this. I have a magnifying glass. I have never felt more like a scientist. There is a second species, and this one we keep. An alien with five million dollars is not an alien. He is a guest. We printed him a card. It is gold. We are printing a Platinum one for the aliens with even more money, who may remain on the planet two hundred and seventy days a year and pay no tax on the wealth they made on other worlds. The website for this is the cheapest-looking website I have ever approved, and I approved the one with the saucer on it. The same agency that scans a gardener's forearm for gang signs scans a financier's bank statement for extraordinary ability. The statement always has it. The forearm never does. The species was never a people. The species is a price. In the old films the alien lands and says, take me to your leader. We have improved the line. Pay five million and we take you to ours. He golfs with him on Saturday. There was a film about this, and I am told the man who made it meant it as a warning, which is the recurring problem with the warnings. A drifter finds a pair of sunglasses, and through them he can finally see which people are the aliens, and it is the rich ones, the ones on the billboards telling everyone to obey and consume and reproduce and not think. I have a pair of those glasses, conceptually. I issue them at the tip line. But mine are tuned the other way. You put them on and the alien is never the man in the suit who paid five million to skip the line. The alien is always the man holding the leaf blower. The lenses cost a thousand dollars in advertising and they only point down. We have sold a great many pairs. You asked about the Men in Black. Yes. Regulation now. A Man in Black photographs poorly, and the witnesses would not stop filming us peel a woman off the sidewalk in daylight, so we issued the masks, and leadership's only note was that the masks tested well. We are no longer the cover-up of the abduction. We are the abduction. We skipped a step. Efficiency. Our communications team posted E.T. last summer. The bicycle. The moon. "Even E.T. knew when it was TIME TO GO HOME." I want to walk you through what happened in that meeting, because nobody stopped it. We chose the one film where the government is the villain. The men with the flashlights and the unmarked vans who hunt the small frightened alien hiding in a child's closet. That is us. We are the flashlights. We watched that movie as children and cried when the agents came, and then we grew up and became the agents and made the poster ourselves and scheduled it for nine a.m. The intern asked if we were the good guys in this one. We told her engagement was up forty percent. She has since been promoted. I built an app where you abduct yourself. CBP Home. You open it. You confirm you are the alien. You beam yourself off the planet and you save us the gas. And here is the part I cannot believe they approved. We *pay* you. A thousand dollars to vanish. We raised it to twenty-six hundred when the first price didn't move enough units. We are bidding against ourselves for your disappearance. Four-point-six stars. The one-stars are from users who got beamed mid-review. I keep the unfinished ones in a folder. I find them very moving. We opened a facility in a swamp. We ringed it with alligators and we called it that, on purpose, in the brochure. Then we opened a gift shop. Thirty dollars for the shirt. Twenty-seven for the hat. Fifteen for a set of koozies, so your beer stays cold while you celebrate the prison in the wetland. The fundraising email called it "gator-guarded, python-patrolled," a "one-way ticket to regret" for anyone who didn't self-deport in time. We sold the koozies to fund the swamp. The swamp funds the next swamp. I want you to sit with the fact that there is merchandise. The quota is three thousand a day. Stephen asked for it himself. Three thousand is not a number. It is a metabolism. The building is hungry by nine and we feed it Marco, who does the landscaping, and the building goes quiet, and by one it stirs again, and we find another Marco. There is always another Marco. That is the part I find beautiful. The supply is the point. The supply is everyone. The Secretary signs the warrants. She is very firm on one point, which she repeats in every briefing: the aliens, she warns, eat the pets. They are taking the dogs. I have read her book. In her book she takes a fourteen-month-old dog named Cricket to a gravel pit and shoots it, because it would not obey, and she writes this down herself, proudly, as a story about leadership. She wrote the part about the dog. She also warns us about the dogs. I have stopped trying to hold both sentences at once. I just file the warrant. The tip line was the masterpiece. "Report your neighbor" hit the shame ceiling. "REPORT SUSPICIOUS ALIENS" tested as a hobby. We handed the callers Roswell instead of a snitch's guilt, and the phones lit up like a saucer, and they hung up glowing, every one of them, like they'd finally seen the thing. They had. He coached the Tuesday team. He was at the bake sale. That is the horror we are selling you. The alien brought the orange slices. He was undocumented and luminous and gone by Tuesday. Roswell taught us the other half of the trade. In 1947 something fell in the desert and the government said: it was a weather balloon, nothing here, go home. That was the first administrative error, the founding one, the original sentence that says the thing you saw was not the thing you saw. We still use it. We have only reversed the polarity. In 1947 they saw a saucer and we called it a balloon. Now they see a father of three and we call it a saucer. The skill is identical. You simply decide in advance which truth the public is allowed to keep, and you hand them the other one, printed, official, with a seal. We did have one administrative error. We abducted a man a court had ordered us not to touch, dropped him on a planet called El Salvador, and called it clerical. A judge made us beam him back. So the DOJ stood up and warned the others: insist on a hearing and we will re-abduct you to the same planet. The Supreme Court said the aliens are entitled to due process. A very Earth opinion. We are appealing it to a higher sky. The planet has a prison, and the prison is the elegant part. In the film about the camp, the aliens are not killed. They are put somewhere they are not permitted to leave, while everyone agrees this is temporary, for their own protection, pending a status that never arrives. We built that. It is called CECOT and we rent it. A man goes in and the man does not come out, and the genius is that nothing has to happen to him, the room does the work, the room is the whole sentence. You remember the Men in Black had a small device. A flash, and the witness forgets the alien entirely. We have something better. We do not wipe the memory. We wipe the file. The man remembers everything, the cell, the flight, the day, all of it, in perfect detail, and it does not matter, because there is no document that admits he was here, and a memory without a file is just a story he tells in a language the form does not accept. The witness keeps the truth. We keep the paperwork. Only one of those is admissible. I learned that the flash was never the point. The point was always the filing cabinet. We run all of it on a spell from 1798. Two hundred and twenty-seven years old. Written for a war we are not in, against an enemy we have not declared. It works because nobody reads the small print on a curse. Storm Area 51 was a joke once. A hundred thousand people Naruto-running at a fence to free whatever was inside. I think about it daily. We're the ones inside the fence now. We kept the running. We just turned it around. We have a precedent we cite in the deck, proudly, on slide four. In 1954 the government ran a program of exactly this kind, and the program had an official name, and the official name was a slur. They printed the slur on the letterhead. They did not flinch. The President holds it up as the model, by name, at the rallies, and the crowd cheers the name. I admire the honesty of 1954 more than I can say. They did not need a saucer to make it palatable. They just used the word. We are the same operation with better art direction. The only thing we added was the costume. I love the callers. I want to say that plainly. For years they told each other a hidden cabal was running everything from the shadows, harvesting the innocent, and that one day the truth would come out. They were right. There is a cabal. It has a budget of a hundred and seventy billion dollars, the largest in the history of federal law enforcement, and it sits in this building, and I have a desk in it. And the people who spent a decade certain that shadowy elites were disappearing their neighbors now call our line, unpaid, to help the shadowy elites disappear their neighbors. They wanted to expose the conspiracy. We made them the staff. Do your own research, they said. They did. They found the gardener. The Department of War posted another tranche on the twenty-second. Saucers. Lights. A pilot's voice going thin. I read all of it. I want them to find one so badly. I want there to be a real one up there, a genuine visitor, something that actually came from somewhere else, because then, and only then, would a single creature in my files have been an alien. They never find it. The sky stays empty. The ground stays full. I have stopped attending the inter-agency sync. We were two departments looking for the same thing in two directions, and only one of us was ever going to be wrong, and it was the honest one. And here is the thing that keeps me at the window past dark. There was a real one. A rock from another star, the genuine article, the first verified object from outside the entire solar system, and a Harvard man went on television and said it might be a ship. An actual alien, possibly, inbound, free of charge, after sixty years of asking. We did not open a file. We could not arrest it. It had no forearm to read and no bank statement to approve. It was the only alien in America we had no use for, so we let it pass, and went back to the parking lot. Last winter the sky over New Jersey filled with lights nobody could name, and the whole government, every agency, every radar, looked up and said it did not know. The one time the unknown actually arrived, we had nothing. Down here I have never once said I do not know. That is the difference between their department and mine. They look up and find a question. I look down and have already decided the answer. Last week the President leaned over mid-briefing and asked if any of them were real. I told him the engagement was extremely real. He nodded. We do not break frame here. The frame is the only wall still standing. That, and the office fern. Nobody waters it. It will not die. The only thing in this building allowed to stay without papers. My plaque came Thursday. FIRST CONTACT, VISIONARY OF THE YEAR. Bold. Unapologetic. Unafraid. I lifted that off the homepage. It was written about one brave man telling the truth. I decided the man was me. I wrote it about me. I am the truth I declassified. I am the secret I warned you about. They walk among us, and I sign their mail. The counter is still live. Three million and climbing. I am told it will not be removed. We are not alone. We are just short a few landscapers. A few line cooks. A few nurses. And the entire night shift at the plant that makes the flag. Up. And to the right.
