@SweetieAkane The 89 version is my favorite! That dramatic pause, the music and the flamingos left a very strong impression on me. In the new version I didn't feel the drama that it deserved but I still liked it too.

@SweetieAkane Where the flamingos in 2024. You telling me they were willing to animate flamingos in the 1989 but in 2024 just a yellow background. Also the 1989 animation is so good

@SweetieAkane Siento que en el reboot lo hacen casi todo a un mismo ritmo, me gusta como en la versión antigua se toman su tiempo y dan una pausa para que sientas el momento (esta escena era muy importante para el personaje de Akane)

I have to say I like the time they took to incapualate the music and scene in the old one to show her hair being cut was an extension of her feelings and soul. The new one just felt like a quickie
