Nothing can be more shameful for Punjab than a Chief Minister facing allegations of sacrilegious conduct and then allegedly using the power of his office to cover it up. After the Akal Takht Sahib’s order on 15 June, senior Punjab Police officers were sent to secure a favourable forensic report with ₹10 lakh deal with a forensic lab in Gurugram. The seriousness of the matter is evident from the FIR registered by Haryana Police against Punjab Govt officials and others for coercing a cyber expert into fabricating a forensic report in favour of Punjab CM. Mann Sahab has lost all moral authority to remain in office. He must step down. This is now a litmus test for Punjab Police. The recently enacted Beadbi law cannot become a tool only for ordinary citizens while the Chief Minister remains above scrutiny. The very first case under the law should be registered against Bhagwant Mann. Most importantly, Punjab is now facing a grave constitutional crisis. A sitting Chief Minister stands accused of misusing police and state machinery to shield himself from accountability. This is a fit case for Bhagwant Mann’s removal from office.

My Statement on Conditions for the Use of Firearms by Police Officers I have seen debates, reactions, and expressions regarding my recent statement on the use of firearms by police officers. My statement was made contextually and consciously with clarity of mind based on the express provisions of the law. No leader, scholar, jurist, journalist, blogger, or opinion shaper has challenged me on the law. At my age, position, and experience, I cannot utter statements that are not supported by the Constitution and the law. Throughout my career, I have never, in my conduct or utterances, found myself on the wrong side of the law. Indeed the Sixth Schedule of the National Police Service Act, in Paragraph B(1), provides the conditions for use of firearms by the Police as follows: 1.Protecting the lives of officers or civilians 2.Self-defense against imminent threats of death or serious injury protection through justified force 4.Preventing the escape of felony suspects from lawful custody I ask all those who are spreading misinformation, disinformation, and fake news to challenge me on the law. Those who are saying I issued an order to the police should show where the order is. A mere restatement of the law as it exists cannot amount to giving an order to the police. The Police are mandated by law to operate within the constitutional framework, the statutes, and the departmental standing orders. In any case, I have no constitutional powers to give such orders; instead, I have a duty to support the police and to formulate policy recommendations to aid the application of law in the enforcement of law and order. Our police officers who are attacked by robbers, rioters, and arsonists—who have torched police stations, stolen rifles, burnt suspects alive, and burnt property worth millions of shillings, including courts —cannot be left helpless when they have been given the authority by the Constitution and the law to defend themselves, the citizens, and their property. The law is in black and white.

During a police raid in a village in #Rajathan's #Alwar district on Sunday morning, #Alisba, a one-month-old infant, allegedly died after being crushed under a police officer’s foot while sleeping on a cot beside her mother. Imran, a daily-wage laborer, said that while he was sleeping beside two of his three children, his wife was sleeping with their one-month-old daughter, Alisba, who was wrapped in a blanket when the police barged into their house at about 6 am without prior notice. According to reports, in #Raghunathgarh village under the #Naugaon police station area, the police team that conducted the raid at Imran Khan’s house was led by head constables Girdhari and Jagveer, along with constables Sunil, Rishi, and Shahid. When the police failed to address the family’s complaint, enraged villagers gathered outside the residence of Alwar SP (Rural), demanding justice and staging a demonstration to protest the alleged brutality. “When I was sleeping on the cot with my infant daughter, the policemen arrived all of a sudden, pulled me out, and sent me out of the room. They also pulled my husband out. They stepped on my infant daughter’s head and killed her. This is murder, and I want justice,” Razida Khan, mother of the deceased infant, told to media. Later, ASP Tejpal Singh confirmed that an FIR had been registered against unnamed police officials, and Khan’s family was assured of action against those responsible. The accused were sent to police lines by Alwar SP Sanjeev Nain after the FIR was registered. Police sources said the raid was conducted in connection with a cybercrime case as part of an ongoing police campaign. However, there was no case registered against Imran Khan, and he was not named in any FIR related to such cases so far. Imran also denied any involvement in online fraud and alleged that the cops took away his mobile phone during the raid. Rajasthan LoP Tika Ram Jully urged the chief minister to take strict action against those responsible. “In Alwar, the police are harassing the public in the name of cyber fraud. Raids are being conducted, and money is extorted. I raised this issue in the Vidhan Sabha as well. An infant died during the raid by the police. The Chief Minister should take cognizance and ensure that the public is not harassed. Action should be taken against those responsible, but the public should not be harassed.”

Imagine a government hiring vehicles, removing the original number plates, replacing them with fake ones, then handing those vehicles to goons and thugs operating under police protection. Think about what that would mean for the rule of law. Sad news. We have said a fond farewell to the legend that was RPD Lenny, or The Lendog as he was known to his nearest and dearest, on the 25th February 2025. Lenny served with Devon Police Dogs and Devon & Cornwall Police for 7 years before retiring last year to his handler. Lendog was a legend and a fearsome police dog. He was walked by Paul Glennon Devon & Cornwall PoliceDogs, before he was handled to Ali, then Steve, and finally to Vikki. Lenny’s work was exceptional, his defense of his handlers unquestionable, and his tracking was outstanding. On one occasion Lenny tracked a suspected target arsonist over a mile through urban streets, around the houses, into a block of flats, up several flights of stairs, straight to a door, where the man was found washing his clothes & disposing of evidence. No visual aids, no descriptions, no doorbell videos, just extraordinary nose work. On another occasion, Vikki stopped a car and the occupant turned violent, throwing her against her vehicle. Vikki managed to release Lenny & he unhesitatingly detained the suspect who proceeded to grab Lenny in a headlock, punching him repeatedly in the face. After another chase, the suspect, who was high on drugs and alcohol, was apprehended by Lenny who refused let go, despite his earlier attack. The criminal was successfully prosecuted. Lenny was a legend, admired and respected. and he will be greatly missed, not just by Vikki, who adored him, but by everyone who knew this truly unique personality - including us all here at the NFRSA. It was our privilege to take care of the entirety of Lenny’s final bill. Sleep well Lendog, you’re safely over Rainbow Bridge, and rolling in any mud you can find. You deserve your rest. Thank you for being you. 💜

I have to commend on this video where a pastor is dressed in a short dress—an indecent dress code that raises serious concerns about modesty and reverence in the house of God. In today’s generation, we are slowly normalizing things that once made believers pause and reflect. But the church is still called to be different. It is still called to represent holiness, order, and reverence before God. Scripture reminds us clearly that our lives—including how we present ourselves—should reflect godliness: “Let your women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation…” — 1 Timothy 2:9 This principle is not only about women, but about the spirit of modesty, decency, and self-control for all who serve and represent God. “Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40 When someone stands on the pulpit, they are not just expressing personal style; they are representing a sacred office where the focus should be the Word of God, not the distraction of appearance. Anything that shifts attention away from the message becomes a concern. We must be careful not to confuse freedom with carelessness. Grace is not an excuse for disorder. The house of God deserves reverence, and those who minister in it should carry themselves in a way that reflects that honor. This is not about condemnation of individuals, but about calling the church back to awareness. A reminder that we must not lose the fear of God while trying to fit into modern trends. Because when reverence is lost, distraction increases—and when distraction increases, the purity of focus on Christ is weakened. Look at this video. More than 15 armed police officers descend on a single defenseless young man in Kiamaiko. He is unarmed. He is overpowered. He poses no visible threat. Yet the blows keep coming. What is even more disturbing is that many of the strikes appear directed at his back and spinal area. Why? What purpose does that serve other than to inflict maximum pain and possibly permanent injury? Who is teaching our brothers and sisters in uniform that force must continue long after a suspect has been subdued? When did arrest become synonymous with punishment? When did law enforcement become an exercise in humiliation, maiming, or killing? A young man surrounded by more than 15 armed officers does not require such violence to be arrested. He requires restraint, professionalism, and respect for the law. I want to ask the Inspector General of the National Police Service, Douglas Kanja, not just as the head of law enforcement, but as a father: When you watch this video, what do you feel? If that young man being beaten was your son, would you be satisfied with this conduct? Would you call it justice? Would you call it policing? Every Kenyan child is someone's son. Every Kenyan child is someone's hope, someone's prayer, someone's future. The uniform should inspire safety, not fear. The badge should symbolize protection, not brutality. A nation cannot claim to uphold the rule of law while turning a blind eye to such scenes. Kenyans are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for humanity. We are asking for accountability. We are asking that those entrusted with power remember that the people they police are human beings whose lives matter. 🚨 'It's a hate crime': Jewish father targeted in Montreal attack, brother-in-law speaks out A Jewish man was targeted in a brazen daylight assault last week at a Montreal park while with his children. His brother-in-law says his relative was the victim of a hate crime and is calling on political leaders to address rising antisemitism. A brutal attack on a father in front of his three children occurred last week in Montreal. Video of the assault went viral online and several politicians, including Premier François Legault, Prime Minister Mark Carney and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, all condemned this violent attack. It's worth noting that while Poilievre reacted quickly to this attack, Prime Minister Carney chose to wish everyone a happy International Cat Day on social media before he eventually commented on the matter the following day. Montreal's woke mayor, Valérie Plante, also issued a public statement. But while the statements poured in, concrete actions to address rising antisemitic crimes in Montreal remain absent — especially from Mayor Plante, who has been inactive in addressing the growing insecurity experienced by the city's Jewish community following the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack against Israel. On Tuesday, we learned a man has been arrested by Montreal police. Rebel News caught up with the victim's brother-in-law, who recounted the incident and described the impact this attack has had on the victim and his children. Zevi told us that the victim, who we are not identifying for privacy reasons, took his kids out to the park on Friday afternoon. Prior to what has been widely shared on social media, Zevi says the attacker poured a bottle of water on his brother-in-law. He was then attacked, with the suspect striking him in front of his kids. Zevi reports that his brother-in-law has suffered a broken nose and is still in pain. Psychologically, the incident has taken a toll on the man's children. “Let's just all imagine what happens to a kid when this happens in front of them,” he said. “Their dad is being beaten up for no reason and we can all use our imagination how this might affect them in the future.” When police failed to quickly respond to the attack, prompting another call, Zevi says officers showed up an hour after the incident and “didn't do much, to be honest.” The response was treated “as if two people were fighting,” he explained, noting the officers didn't act as though it was a hate-motivated assault against a Jewish resident. “Only after the story went viral, the pressure was on them. AfriForum emphasises that, as an organisation, it remains committed to helping find solutions to this crisis in the best interest of everyone in the country. According to Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum, ANC leaders have so far actively prevented attempts to find solutions by, among other things, inviting the Iranian ambassador to the ANC headquarters and making anti-American statements. “Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, acted directly against South Africa’s interests by publicly accusing President Donald Trump of having a ‘white supremacy’ agenda, despite his role as minister to promote international relations. Lamola disregarded the possibility of retaliation for his statements, and now we are all reaping the bitter fruits of that,” says Kriel. Referring to Trump’s latest statements on social media about farm murders and property rights, Kriel says that concrete steps must be taken to combat farm murders and protect property rights, as this is the best way to tackle these issues. According to Kriel, AfriForum has therefore already made several proposals to the ANC’s leaders to serve as solutions in this regard. 7 years back on December 18, Genpact employee & Assistant Vice President Swaroop Raj ended his life in Noida. He h@nged himself in his Noida apartment after two of his junior female colleagues filed sexual harassment complaints against him and the company’s internal complaints committee temporarily suspended him. In a suicide note addressed to his wife, who worked in the same company, Raj claimed he was innocent but did not have the courage to face anyone. In the note addressing his wife Kriti Srivastav, he said: “Today I want to let you know how much I love you. I have an allegation by two of the employees on sexual harassment and trust me I did not do anything. I know the world will understand it but you and our families should trust me. The allegations are baseless. But the entire Genpact will know about it, hence I do not have the courage to face anyone. I want you to be strong and live life with whole respect as your husband has not done anything... I am going as everyone will look at me with that eye even if I come clean.” On December 22, on the basis of this suicide note and a complaint by Raj’s wife, the Greater Noida police filed a First Information Report charging Genpact and seven of its employees with abetment of suicide. Among the seven were the two women who made the sexual harassment complaints. However, no legal action as such was taken against the accused and Swaroops' family still seeks justice. There are many such cases where women have misused the POSH ACT for their own benefits.
