When I was a child, I watched this film more than 30 times.

I thought Puneet Issar owned this song. I didn’t even remember Akshay Khanna was in this song. Puneet Issar is who always comes to mind when I hear this song.

One of the core emotional anchor of 🎞Border was the story of a fresh recruit pushed reluctantly into the Army and then into a war. Akshaye Khanna suited the role age-wise and he successfully brought out the vulnerability and angst of a young man forced into a job against his wishes.

The man, the myth, the legend; he nailed the young Dharamveer.., from naivety & innocence to bravery & valour. I am unable to convince myself to watch Border 2 cause deep down i very well know, the casting they have done this time around don't have the substance to pull it off.

BORDER (1997)can not be made again. No one can match J P Dutta. Watch GHULAMI(1985) to know more about him. No one can replace Gulzar (GHULAMI )&JAVED AKHTAR(BORDER ).Though I have no inclination of seeing the present one because I know the difference.
