Judge missed ten games. Team made playoffs. I’d bet if Cal missed 10 games Seattle doesn’t make the playoffs. Curious what the V in MVP stands for. Who’s more valuable to their team. Offensive accolades are important too. Almost like there’s a Hank Aaron award for that.

If the award was for Offensive Player of the Year, it's clearly Aaron Judge... But the award is for "Most Valuable Player" to their team. VERY clearly, it's Cal Raleigh. If it's not, the award is misnamed. Get it right, please.

Very disappointing Dave. I know you feel you have to say it since you work for them now, but you know how valuable Cal was to this squad this year. You were hear through some of the darkest years for the M’s. You know his value goes far beyond offensive stats.

The Difference between Cal, and the next best catcher is more than the difference between Judge and the 8th best outfielder. It's not close, Cal is much more valuable. There is a corner outfielder on the Yankees roster closer to AJ, than any catcher is to CR

MVP isn’t just an offensive award. Cal had a gold glove season behind the plate too. Judge touches the ball a fraction of the time Cal does.

Sorry Dave it’s Cals time for mvp! More deserving. Judge hits in a hitters park while cal hits in the pitchers park. Cal would easily have broken judge’s record had he had a hitters park to hit in.

Dave, if you’re looking at who was most valuable to their team’s success, it’s Cal Raleigh. You neglected an entire part of the game that Cal does way better than Judge - play gold glove catcher. Manage a pitching staff that became elite this year. Plus he hit 60 HRs and his clutch stats are better than Judge (the best barometer of value). No catcher has ever had that type of season in history. But I guess the east coast bias wins?

Sorry Dave, mad respect, but you're mistaken. It's not most valuable hitter award it is the most valuable player award. The Mariners would not be in the playoffs and in the discussion of being in the World Series if Cal had an average year. Period
