Breyonne Rene Smith, 29, of Montgomery, is charged with first-degree sodomy and permitting a child to engage in pornography Charging documents state Smith’s son was blindfolded on the floor. The mother filmed herself doing an obscene sex act with the young child. The alleged crimes happened on Aug. 22, 2025, at her Montgomery home. Smith was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility Tuesday and remains held without bond.

Alabama has extended an offer to 2028 DL Kingston “Boogeyman” Brown out of G.W. Carver High School in Columbus, GA. Several months ago, Brown told me that a Bama offer would be a blessing. Now, that opportunity has come to fruition. Brown has been an anchor up front for the Tigers in each of the last two seasons. As a sophomore, Brown tallied 50 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and three sacks.
