But Alberta has always suffered from unrealistic aspirations and willing to sacrifice its neighbors or even all of Canada for their own, even subversive American gains. They are unable to forget the past and have shown little appreciation for Canadian assets including pipelines.

This is getting tiresome. Yes, the Trudeau government was not great, but now every ill and misfortune (real or manufactured) seems to be blamed on the relationship. It’s become a reflexive “them vs us”.
