The moral pervasion and erosion of decency on social media platforms, including TikTok, calls for responsible regulation to protect our children. This is also about safeguarding the data and privacy of our people. No one is banning TikTok or any other social media platform. These platforms are empowering thousands of our youth economically and creating real opportunities. What we seek is balance, to protect our children, protect our values, and protect our people, while preserving the digital economy that is transforming lives. Regulation is not suppression. It is a responsibility.

The only stakeholders that matter are Albertans. We need to address the existential threat to Albertan workers and consumers that has emerged with President Trump and his impending tariffs. We need tough, hard, pragmatic solutions, but instead we have a Premier with no plan, but the same old talking points. We need to sit down with industry and stakeholders to understand their needs and how we can best help them. Our Premier needs to be working to diversify our markets so our province is more sustainable in the long-term. We need a Premier who can get the job done for Alberta. But instead, Danielle Smith is more concerned with her most important stakeholder: President Trump.

Albertans have said over and over and over again, "No coal mining in the eastern slopes." The UCP government recently lifted the moratorium on coal mining in our mountains to avoid a lawsuit that they caused because of their own incompetence. This government promised to protect our mountains and yet here we are calling open season on mining and risking irreparable damage to our economy, agriculture sector, recreational lands and water. We need to keep up the pressure to tell Danielle Smith and her UCP this is unacceptable. We want mountains not mines.
