I’ve been to Alcatraz multiple times myself. It would need to be completely tore down and rebuilt. But I agree, I believe it’s just another distraction

In college I learned that there was a “broken window theory” and “NIMBY”. People don’t want to live around prisons so they are hidden…. Far away… We need to rebuild Alcatraz so that people can see it and choose a better alternative than crime just to avoid such a place.
