Then they can take it from there and arrest the perpetrators. Very simple . The police are aware of the area yet they go about harassing young men with cars on the strt.

My car door glass, side mirror, & windshield are cracked coz of traffic robbers. I don tag @PoliceNG severally but NOTHING!

You would be surprised during Ambode's tenure as gov, that road was always lit up all the way from mile 12 down to ikorodu. If you pass there now it is always pitch dark!

If a personnel was affected, why are they not immediately getting themselves together to reed that place of whatever danger? Ikorodu roads from Ojota to Ikorodu are very dangerous. My last experience was when 2 guys approached my car, and they knew I was alone in the car. He said If you don't give us money now, I'll shoot you. I said I only have 2k cash but he said they said they wanted 30k via transfer. I let them relax b4 I made my own move. I rammed my car into another car, I wanted to crush both of them. Omoh, dem japa. At the same time, I was scared but I just decided that anything that wanted to happen should happen.

The whole of Lagos is like this, if your car breaks down thugs come out of everywhere and start to demand a toll for your car breaking down. The police officers in Ketu and mile 12 axis most likely know them but don't care.

A sport Journalist once talked about this how that someone's vehicle broke down along this Ikorodu corridor and from nowhere area boys gathered the person. I saw a similar thing at alausa where MKO Abiola gardens are opposite the express

@followlasg @jidesanwoolu @LagosPoliceNG Too many spots in Lagos aren't safe and our police are aware of these places, once it gets partially dark these thugs come out from their hiding places to lay ambush on unsuspecting pedestrians... I had my fair share in 2022 along oshodi bridge.

It is rather ironic that there is a bus stop named "Checking Point" located not far from that area. Indeed, it is accurate that the stretch from the Mile 12 bridge down to Owode Onirin can be unsafe during the early morning and late evening hours.

@followlasg @jidesanwoolu @LagosPoliceNG He should have use a toying vehicle, or call 767 or 112. This happened to me at 1 am close to iyana itire , oshodi apapa going towards Oshodi. Boys came and i gave them 10k. They even help me get a jack and the tires fixed. They did not rob me.
