❗️🇹🇭⚔️🇰🇭 - The Royal Thai Air Force has conducted airstrikes using F-16 fighter jets on a casino complex in Cambodia near the Thailand-Cambodia border, according to multiple reports. Thai military officials state that the targeted facility—allegedly repurposed as a command center, drone launch site, and weapons storage depot—was used by Cambodian forces to threaten Thai troops and civilians. The strikes are part of an ongoing escalation in border clashes that reignited in early December 2025, following a fragile U.S.-brokered ceasefire from July. Thailand claims the operations are defensive, targeting verified military assets amid Cambodian rocket and drone attacks. Cambodia, however, has condemned the bombings as violations of its sovereignty, accusing Thailand of aggression against civilian areas and infrastructure. Cambodian sources reported minor civilian injuries and damage to nearby structures, with at least four casinos damaged overall since fighting resumed. The conflict has displaced hundreds of thousands on both sides, killed dozens of troops and civilians, and prompted international calls for de-escalation from China, the EU, and others. Thailand has rejected ceasefire proposals, insisting on neutralizing threats, while Cambodia demands withdrawal and accountability. The situation remains tense along the 800 km (500-mile) disputed border, rooted in longstanding territorial claims dating back to colonial times.

🔹Debunking Propaganda - Since the preceding day, individuals associated with a political party have been disseminating disinformation and propagating their narrative concerning the APS Incident. They have employed a propaganda clip featuring the fugitive soldier Mudassir Iqbal. - Mudassir Iqbal, a former soldier who absconded to Afghanistan after committing a homicide, sought refuge with the Khawarij of the TTP. - In 2017, hostile intelligence agencies decided to exploit Mudassir Iqbal's military identity for their nefarious purposes and propaganda efforts. - On August 23, 2017, a video was disseminated through media outlets affiliated with their terrorist groups, including the TTP and BLA, with the aim of disseminating disinformation and propaganda against the Pakistan Army. -- Background on the APS Attack: In June 2014, the Pakistan Armed Forces initiated a joint military operation against various militant groups in North Waziristan, which had become a hotbed of violence. This military offensive, known as Operation Zarb-e-Azb, was launched in response to the terrorist attack on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on June 8, 2014, for which the TTP claimed responsibility. This incident stands as the world's fifth deadliest school massacre. In response, Pakistan launched a rescue operation conducted by the Pakistan Army's Special Services Group (SSG) special forces, which successfully eliminated all six terrorists and saved 960 individuals. -- Masterminds And Attackers: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, citing it as retaliation for Operation Zarb-e-Azb, the Pakistani military's campaign in North Waziristan that commenced in the summer of 2014. TTP spokesman Muhammad Omar Khorasani asserted that they targeted the school due to the Army's targeting of their families, expressing their desire for the Army to comprehend their suffering. On December 18, 2014, the TTP released a video on their website featuring Umar Mansoor, who disclosed that he masterminded the Peshawar School attack. Indian Army Intensifies Winter Operations in Kishtwar and Doda to Flush Out Pakistani Terrorists As the bone-chilling winter descends upon the Himalayas and the 40-day period of Chillai Kalan grips Jammu & Kashmir, sources in the defence establishment have said that the Indian Army has intensified its counter-terrorism operations across the Kishtwar and Doda districts. Undeterred by freezing temperatures, treacherous terrain, and heavy snowfall, Army units have expanded their operational reach into higher and snowbound areas to pursue and neutralise Pakistani terrorists attempting to exploit the harsh season for concealment. Traditionally, the onset of Chillai Kalan; the harshest phase of Kashmir’s winter spanning from December 21 to January 31 ushers in a temporary lull in terrorist activities, as communication routes close and heavy snowfall isolates mountain regions. However, this winter has marked a decisive shift in the operational approach of the Indian Army and other security forces. Instead of reducing activities, sources have said that the Army has adopted a proactive winter posture, establishing temporary bases and surveillance posts deep within snow-covered areas to maintain unbroken pressure on possible terrorist hideouts. Operating in sub-zero temperatures with limited visibility, Army patrols have been regularly traversing high-altitude ridgelines, valleys, and forested areas to deny terrorists any sanctuary. The shift according to experts signifies an evolution in counter-terrorism tactics, underlining both the Army’s adaptability and its resolve to maintain operational momentum irrespective of the season or terrain. A defining feature of this year’s counter-terror strategy has been the integrated approach to operations. The Indian Army is leading a synchronised effort involving multiple security and law enforcement agencies, including the Civil Administration, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Special Operations Group (SOG), Forest Guards, and Village Defence Guards (VDGs). This inter-agency cooperation ensures seamless sharing of intelligence, resource optimisation & sharper operational execution. Intelligence from multiple agencies is carefully synthesised to draw precise situational pictures of terrorist movement and hideout patterns. Once intelligence is verified, coordinated joint operations are planned & launched, minimising overlaps and ensuring maximum impact with tactical precision. The synergy among ground units and intelligence frameworks has enhanced response time, enabling security forces to act swiftly the moment actionable information surfaces. As per assessment made by various intelligence agencies, there are approximately 30 to 35 Pakistani terrorists currently in the Jammu region. Inputs gathered over the past few months suggests that these Pakistani terrorist groups, finding themselves cornered by successful counter-terror operations, have shifted deeper into higher and middle mountain reaches of the region; areas now devoid of habitation. These terrorists are believed to be seeking temporary winter hideouts to evade detection and avoid direct confrontation with security troops. Reports indicate that these remnants of terror groups are attempting to coerce or threaten local villagers for shelter and food supplies, though their support among locals and overground workers has sharply declined. The drying local support and continuous security vigilance at lower altitudes have forced them into isolation, further restricting their ability to regroup or plan coordinated attacks. The principal focus for the Army and other forces this winter is twofold: to eliminate remaining terrorist pockets within known areas and to ensure that terrorists remain confined to inhospitable higher reaches. This containment strategy not only prevents terrorists from infiltrating or regrouping in populated belts but also significantly disrupts their logistics & communication.

Pakistan's oppression of occupied #Kashmir is worsening. As the world's attention is largely fixated on the war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East, unrest has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in South Asia. Tensions are rising in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as the Pakistani government has been deploying troops from Punjab Province to suppress the imminent protests in the region due May 11. The protests aim to address the Kashmiri people's economic, social and political problems that Pakistan's government has failed to solve. The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have issued warnings to the government of Pakistan against the use of any force against protestors. The warnings have apparently been ignored as Pakistan mobilized its troops to the area, leading to more protests. Historical background info: "In 1947, the Princely State of Jammu and Kashmir became part of the Republic of #India. Shortly thereafter, Pakistani armed forces and Pashtun tribesmen invaded the area, forcing the largest Kashmiri political party to approve the accession. Indian forces were deployed to counter the attacks by Pakistan. In 1948, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 47 requiring all Pakistani military personnel to withdraw from the region before a plebiscite—which would have confirmed the people’s wishes to join India—could be called. Instead of this Pakistan increased its military presence, and no plebiscite was held. In the areas of Kashmir which remained outside of India, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, 41,000 Hindu families were forced to flee from Pashtun tribesmen. "The historic region of Kashmir has a total area of 85,807 sq. miles and is now divided between three countries. Pakistan occupies approximately 30,160 sq. miles, known as (PoK) and the Northern Areas." Clashes between Pakistani troops and Kashmiri locals are expected to further escalate. 💢 REPORT — Renewed sectarian clashes have erupted outside Sweida, the Druze stronghold in southern Syria, as Bedouin tribal fighters and Druze militias battle for control. Sky News’ Alex Crawford shared video of intense fighting on Instagram four hours ago. She reports that fighting has continued all day, with homes and businesses torched, looting widespread, and a local hospital treating 600 injured over the past four days—around 50 killed today alone. ➤ About 200 Bedouin fighters armed with machine guns and shells clashed with Druze gunmen at the city’s edge, according to AFP. Anadolu Agency reports that battles are ongoing along Sweida’s western and northern fronts. ➤ Anadolu’s correspondent says Syrian government forces withdrew after reaching an agreement with local factions—but fighting resumed after a faction led by Druze leader Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri rejected the deal and began forcibly displacing Bedouin Arabs. After overnight clashes, al-Hijri’s fighters retreated toward the city center by midday, then launched a counterattack, advancing roughly 2.5 miles along Sweida’s northern and western outskirts. Drones and snipers have played a key role in the Druze assault. ➤ At 3 p.m. local time, Bedouin forces reportedly launched a renewed assault on al-Hijri’s positions in the western part of the city. ➤ Around 80,000 people have been displaced, infrastructure is collapsing, and aid workers are unable to reach the wounded as the violence worsens. ➤ Israel has reportedly said it will refrain from striking Syrian forces for 48 hours, granting them limited access to Sweida to restore order—after Israeli airstrikes and the stoking of tensions played no small part in escalating the conflict. 🎥: Sky’s Crawford noted there was no sign of Syrian government forces in the area, as fighting continues despite a ceasefire agreement reached yesterday. Zarar Wazir, a resident of Paryat in Razmak, North Waziristan, had recently completed his Hifz when he was approached by associates of Commander Abu Bakar, also known as Mohsin, who tried to recruit him into their group. The young boy eventually showed interest and began visiting their temporary hideout in the Mossaki area. During this time, the commander and senior militants reportedly exploited him and recorded compromising material to use as leverage in case he tried to leave their activities. Meanwhile, his parents and relatives were desperately searching for their missing son. Some local shepherds informed them that the boy had been lured and taken by militants belonging to Abu Bakar’s group in the Mossaki (JangJal) forests. The family went there several times and pleaded for his release, but their requests were rejected. They were even told that their son would soon attain “72 hoors” and that the family would also be rewarded with paradise for his sacrifice. When pressure started building for the boy’s release, the militants reportedly handed him over to another group. According to the account, he was sold to the HGB operations head, Commander Talwar Waziristani, for Rs. 500,000. Talwar then placed the boy under the supervision of his local area commander, Irshad Himati. Irshad and his associates allegedly prepared a Mazda truck packed with explosive drums and acid reportedly supplied by an Afghan militant named Mubariz Afghani to carry out a high-impact suicide attack. Before the attack, the boy was shown the intended target: the Chashmai check post near Miranshah in North Waziristan, where security forces were stationed. Information about a possible suicide attack had already been circulated across Miranshah, and security forces were on high alert. However, authorities did not have details about the boy or the specific vehicle. On the day of the incident, the truck approached the Chashmai Bridge check post on the main Bannu–Miranshah road. Only two security personnel were present at the post, and they opened fire as the truck moved closer. In panic, the boy detonated the explosives before reaching the HESCO barriers. The blast killed two civilians and left 18 others critically injured, while no security personnel lost their lives due to the prior alert. Most of the casualties occurred among passengers traveling in a Hiace coach and other vehicles that were passing by at the time of the explosion. Among the injured and affected were six people from his own village, Paryat Dirdoni, while the rest were from other areas of North Waziristan. This tragic incident illustrates how innocent lives, including that of a young boy, were manipulated and sacrificed in the name of militancy. (Video GL 32°47'10.25"N 69°53'16.60"E )
