This terrifying statement of DG ISPR is a challenge to human rights activists like us and the whole world, in which a press conference is being held in public claiming that "we kill terrorists becausr they are dogs on sight and leave their bodies in the forest for dogs and JaJackals to eat." How can we say that he was a terrorist ? Unless he appears in a court of law, a person who is declared a terrorist after a court trial is also entitled to some basic and minimum human rights as a human being and under Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols, but this admission by the current establishment of Pakistan is clear evidence that the current government of Pakistan is committing serious human rights violations and war crimes. On 4th May Edison Moirangthem posted a video on social medias where he confidently proclaimed that some meitei women were raped openly by the kuki-zo volunteers without any evidences. The news had also reached local medias where majority of the people believed and protests were held in different states where they put up pictures from google on a banner and tried to malign the image of the kuki-zo men. However these claims or accusations were proven to be wrong by their respective parents. But it didn’t do much help as some of our women already were victims of r@pe at that point where the meiteis tried to justify as an act of retribution. Another influencer Soma Laishram had also taken to social media where she talked about women supposedly being r@ped openly.
