🌀Alex Honnold listened to a playlist comprised mostly of TOOL during his recording-setting free solo climb of the Taipei 101 skyscraper.

He only made it to Track 3

I would accidentally air drum and fall to my death.

Listening to Lateralus while climbing the Fibonacci-curved section is very on-brand for a Tool fan 😂

It’s the only band you should be listening to when your life is on the line

I listen to Tool when I need energy/inspiration, so this is very relatable. Well done!

Polyrhythms all the way to the top.

A tempest must be just that.

Imagine falling to your death and the last thing you hear is Maynard singing about Prison love

Clearly he’s not vaccinated

Tool is music for tone deaf people. Which is fine. Tone deaf people need to have music to listen to as well, but it would be great if they would just take our word for what is and isn't good music.

I paint a lot to Tool. Something about it helps you dial in

Now all the tech bros seeking an edge will listen to Tool - as they sit and watch - their newly brought Mac mini/Clawdbot assistants hum away, sorting their emails and updating their to do lists Limitless yo

Clutch it like a cornerstone

This is the way.

He might have been able to get through Lateralus for as quick as he got up that building.

Wish we could have heard that playlist while he climbed.

Push the envelope Watch it bend

Thank goodness he wasn’t listening to the commentators. They could not have been worse.

That’s what I’d be listening to for sure!

@netflix needs to step the F up and pay this man 10X what he got 💰. And blasting Tool is as badas# as it gets!

זה מסביר הרבה

Na he had invincible on repeat.

I listened to Tool while I shoveled my driveway yesterday we're basically the same

That would make me want to jump off the building

@mjkeenan 🤘

I got a text last night that said go watch the guy climbing the building he's listening to Tool. My best friend gets me 🌀🌀

Guaranteed 7empest & Pneuma are on it

Best band alive. Awesome! 🤘

Good taste

If your life is on the line, and you get to choose, tool is the right way.

so he levitated?
