He's got what it takes to get DDP down and hold him there. Whether he can get the finish is a different thing cuz DDP has got some serious skills on the mat. The longer the fight goes, the worse it gets for Khamzat. DDP is a tough MF who thrives when the fight gets ugly.

his skills on the mat arent bad but his defensive grappling hasnt been tested too much. Rob took him down once but couldnt keep him there (rob has bad top control) Brunson got the better of alot of the wrestling exchanges and had Dricus's back at one point

The thing with Khamzat’s skillset is that I think it can reliably work on any potential opponent he has. It’s a style that would work in any division imo. So DDP is no exception. Biggest question is endurance for Chimaev.

Khamzat is definitely stronger than Dricus. His strength is not human like. Dricus is very strong, probably second to khamzat in middleweight, but I promise you khamzat will take him down immediately with no resistance

The thing with the beefy guys is they’re not athletic they’re just big tanks hard to takedown. I would imagine khamzat shooting and if DDP has time to sprawl khamzat will be in a very bad position.

Khamzat lost to Gilbert Burns and got gifted the victory because of his Dana White privilege. He couldn’t submit short notice welterweight Usman and would have lost if it had been a 5 round fight. He got lucky against Rob because of a freak injury. Khamzat is good but he has never been tested and will crumble under the pressure of DDP. DDP will take him into the deep waters and Khamzat will quit in round 4. Yes, DDP is going to finish him.
