Spoke to Cathy Newman Sky News on the Hampshire case. When victims feel justice hasn't been served, sentencing decisions & the Unduly Lenient Sentence (ULS) scheme must be clearly explained. The Attorney General's Office decision to refer this case to the Court of Appeal is a vital step.

The Khumalo family says they are disappointed that relatives of Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma did not visit to apologise or offer condolences following the deaths of Zandile Nothabo Khumalo and her daughters, Natalie and Nala. Speaking at the funeral service in Bulawayo, Dr Ntsika Dakamela, a representative of the Magonya family who was also speaking on behalf of the Khumalo family, said they had expected the Tshuma family to express remorse in line with tradition, but no such visit was made. cc: Chronicle
