If you don’t have access to a paid AI API, you can’t really use this for serious coding. I’ve tried NVIDIA NIM and OpenRouter’s free models, but their TPM limits make heavy coding tasks impractical. They’re fine for conversational tasks, though.

"Free" here means your code goes through someone else's proxy to models whose free tiers train on your inputs. That's not free. That's a different price

Ojo que el ahorro se lo come el cache. Rotando entre 10 proveedores perdés el prompt caching y volvés a pagar el contexto entero en cada llamada. Corremos agentes con budget de 250k tokens por sesión y sin cache ese budget no llega ni a la mitad del laburo.

What's the point technically ? I mean there are good open source alternatives to Claude code harness, or do we think Claude code is better than the others ? Is it to leverage the multi/teams agent system and the other internal tools ? Pretty sure other harnesses are good at it too now
