Oblivion (2013) deserved way more appreciation than it got. The M83 score, the clean sci-fi production design, Tom Cruise slowly realizing his entire existence is built on a lie. Feels like an old-school science fiction movie in the best way.

The cinematic for Cryo Archive is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. The writing and visuals are perfect dark sci-fi, and it does a good job of setting the tone for one of the most challenging PvPvPvE maps I've ever played. The Marathon team did great work. This is art.

To focus on something that isn't just visuals, notice how much more noise there is in DeSR. The FO's gargling noises, the OST kicking in and ruining any sense of subtlety, the Penetrator's....grunting??? It feels like BP thought that every second of the game had to have noise.
