All African countries need to learn from China, by regulating our educational system to create entrepreneurs from an early age rather than creating a workforce or jobless population.

They’ve got a heavy emphasis on STEM,science, tech, engineering, maths from early on, which builds a foundation for innovation. Kids are drilled in problem-solving and technical skills, and the state pushes hard on discipline

I agree. African countries lack a lot of locally manufactured products or technologies. That is not a bad thing, which means there is a gap in the market to be met. Foreign companies benefit from our market, we can, too, and it will help us be self-reliant .

South African parents should encourage their kids to look at trades that are forever in demand. Sparkies, Plumbers ,Welders etc these are in demand jobs world wide. Not everyone is meant for Varsity!

@HonSteveMbogo Some years back, Agriculture, wood work, Home science, Art, Craft and Music was taught from primary level before it was scrapped, CBC implementation was rushed, it should be crafted in way that learners potential will be recognised in early stages

In Ghana a presidential candidate started an initiative like this and started building STEM schools they voted against him for okada president
