We have to fight for everything to have an opportunity to be in the game.” “Our team, outside of maybe Isaac Okoro, we don’t have one guy on the team right now that you would sit there and ‘this guy’s a defensive stopper. This is what this guy hangs his hat on.’ It’s not one guy’s fault, it’s all of us. It’s the coaches, the players. … It’s a team issue.”

Kawhi Leonard said he’s never been on a team that needed this much scoring from him, but it’s going to keep being an emphasis. “Especially with the team we have now. I’ve never really been in this situation. I more try to get guys the ball and just sharing it… But the coaches need me to be aggressive the entire game. Just a different evolution. Me trying to shoot more threes and trying to evolve my game to today’s game.” He said he’s fine with his 3P% going down if it makes him and the team better overall.

Coaches — Believe in your kids whether they love hoops first or second or third. Create enthusiasm in your program!! Athletes — You never know what being on a team will do for you!!
