All clocks including broadcast are synced prior to kick the statement says. But this clock is apparently not with the broadcast. Also we cannot see the ball when the voice says "now". That doesn't meet the standard.

Broadcast was properly synched. Big ten keeps circulating video of the refs unsyched spliced feeds.

So then on the play before, the ref said to put 9 sec on the clock. That should have put ALL clocks on sync with the last play!!

And there is the issue of the how the refs fairly determine when to start stop and overlay there super secret clock….to the nbc game film that has its tv clock synced to the official one. There is clearly a human element they are ignoring that caused their glaring mistake

Anything not visible to the public is bound to create theories. If the game clock is not the "official clock" We have been lied to every game. What about the play clock? Is there a super secret clock for that?

The game clock HAS TO BE the official clock. It's the one that the coaches and players use to, you know, make decisions and stuff. The clock shown to us on TV is literally just an insert of the actual game clock. There is no secret clock. There is only the game clock.

A bad look for the conference, the officiating crew, and the NCAA.

Not the infield crew. They can only listen

@TinCup2020 They can ask questions. They had the power to say game over, regardless of what the higher ups say. They are the ones who told them to get back on the field. Regardless if they were "following" orders. If they knew it was wrong, you would hope they would have some integrity.

@TinCup2020 Reminds me of a few good men. To use a fictional movie to make my point, but hopefully you understand.

@KalistaAndrew In my view, the goal should always be to get the calls right, regardless of the outcome of doing so.

Big Ten comes off looking like a clown show at minimum and corrupt if you sit on the extreme side of this.

This would’ve never happened if the shoe was on the other foot and it was western Michigan on that first Hail Mary.

Replay was installed to give the power at the hand more control over the outcome. There was zero reason to replay this play; they only did to change to outcome.

A basically saying the stadium clock is irrelevant! Total garbage!

The stadium clock was reset to 9 seconds as well as NBC's live broadcast clock. So how would that even matter?

David Mosure profil fotoğrafı

Why was instant repair even involved? Because Michigan lost, thats why

So all these years the clock in the stadium is “close” to correct but the super secret clock is always right. Interesting.

Bullshit!!!!!!! The official LIVE ON THE FIELD synced the clocks at the 0:09 mark. It was clear that the clocks were synced right there!!!!

This is not what the statement said at all. It said the broadcast cameras are synced with the game clock in the stadium. Irrefutable evidence shows there was still 1 second left on the clock. The mistake is everyone thinking the tv broadcast is synced with the in stadium clock

@KalistaAndrew The dude showing them has his checks signed by Michigan. He is not an official.

Andrew Sinclair profil fotoğrafı

@KalistaAndrew This is inaccurate as well, clearly is wearing a Big10 cap. You can’t just make stuff up because it sounds good to say what proof is there that he works for Michigan?

@KalistaAndrew If you think ANY official stays on the field that long after a game the you've never watched ball a day in your life.

@KalistaAndrew Meanwhile I’m at 3 games each week of the season 😭😭😭. 1. Camera crew are not officials 2. They have no affiliation to the school they are hired by the network 3. The man is literally operating the camera in the video so he has more of a job than you think

Dude honestly you don't even deserve a response. That most likely is a local chapter Michigan High School ref brought in by opps. That's who holds the replay equipment. Signed a former local chapter guy that can name every single crew member at Penn State and loves to see his former white hat charting the plays with the B1G guys.

They reset and synced the clicks with 0:09 left too. Literally right before the last play. Zero margin of error there. Clock was at 0:00 before anyone touched it.

Right. And they had multiple angles where they can match up the touching of the ball with time left on the clock.

Andrew Kalista profil fotoğrafı

Not what they tweeted out from what I saw. I saw the back angle Messed up syncs with NBC. I think they have more explaining to be done.

They’re synced independently to the replay official’s system. NBC does their own syncing. If NBC’s syncing doesn’t match the official syncing, you can create a slight difference between what the broadcast shows and what is the official clock/camera combination.
